As a gamer...I get this ALL the time when I'm yelling at people for being stupid "oh you're mad and on your period huh?"

13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

That would be because most online gamers act like complete ass clowns.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This was the most annoying thing ever living with my family, my brother would always tell me get off the rag like it's 31 days in a month

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The finger-pointing in the comments is hilarious. From both men and women. Everyone is on the rag.

13 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 3

Fair to say I've jumped in too, but you're right, independent observer. Let's grab a beer and watch the fun.

When I see an increase of chocolate in the house, I just know. Not to mention everything I end up doing is wrong. Like speaking.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Girls don't get moody when they're on their periods, they just stop tolerating shit that pisses them off.

13 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 4

But shouting at the fridge, when you home alone?

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Do you have any idea what torture it is for women to tolerate fridges?

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, I suppose it's stupid of them to be quiet for long periods then suddenly whir then go silent again...

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You say that like it's healthy and reasonable.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It is healthy are reasonable to tolerate shit that pisses you off?

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Usually, yes. It's how we, as a species, survive without murdering the ever loving fuck out of each other. Enjoy it.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Within reason, yes.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Yes, this exactly.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

word

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

SHE IS A CANADIAN GIRL!!! REPRESEEEENT

13 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 8

Canadian with Indian roots.

13 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Yuuuup :D

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As an Indian guy, it would be nice to meet more Canadindian girls ;)

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hahaha sorry but I am taken <3

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

lol.. I'm married! to an Austrian! I'd just like to meet more of you for international-cultural-science ;)

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Hahaha! I believe you but that ;) at the end makes this all really sarcastic-sounding! :P

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

nooo.. that was me being friendly yet mildly mischievous at the same time! ;) (you see what I mean?)

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Um, every girlfriend I ever had was calm on their Period, and cranky succubi during the PRE part of PMS

13 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

PMS stands for Pre Menstrual Syndrom. So you got it right, girls are PMS`ing BEFORE the blood shedding starts. :)

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The succubus part sounds okay...

13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

But, but, if it's not PMS, then you're just an asshole.

13 years ago | Likes 146 Dislikes 35

Also, PMS is actually a diagnosed condition that affects 10% of women or less, not just emotions related to hormone fluctuations.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

or we're reacting so someone else being an asshole.

13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Ding ding ding!

13 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 13

Women can get angry/emotional/irrational/be assholes. Blaming it on our biology is like saying we're less than men or somehow not human.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

And ignoring the fact that for some women, PMS is a very real issue, is just asinine.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

DAMN SON! You pissed off every snatchbleeder in here!

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I don't always troll, but when I do....something something something.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Or maybe we're just doing our jobs. I had a student bust out the PMS line once for throwing him out while he was cheating on a test.

13 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

That's classy. /sarcasm

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Or maybe you just over-react by the standards of normal people, so it makes no sense unless you have an imbalance of some sort.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 11

Normal people want high schoolers to cheat on tests? Huh.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I see you're confusing "reaction" with "action". How did you behave while taking the steps of removing the student?

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

Females are not allowed to be mad some times....? Females have bad days just like guys have bad days.

13 years ago | Likes 56 Dislikes 9

But guys end up facing CONSEQUENCES for it.

13 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 19

What the hell dude?

13 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Sorry, it's just that time of the month for me, you know. (So I get a free pass now)

13 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 13

hey I see what you did there!

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 6

Cute, but no. Because you're taking it out of context. It doesn't mention "taking it out on someone." It's anything, being put down to 1>

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

right and if you take it out on someone you are a shitty person. Guys have "bad days" and they FUCKING APOLOGIZE OR GET CALLED A DEUCHE

13 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 8

But this doesn't say "take out your anger on someone" it just says "angry"

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

then noone fucking cares. Don't try that crap (2)

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

oh come on now you are just splitting hairs to protect women, we both know if you want to be left alone and don't snap at anyone (1)

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 5

More like I'm trying to point out that you're arguing that something was said that wasn't?

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Well to lower the tension I always ask my girlfriend if she's having one of those days. Works like a charm.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I was just asking if she wanted to study before 2nd period.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Superwoman! She's hilarious!

13 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 9

I wanna marry her. Except I'm a girl, and I don't think she's into that.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Rather than accusing/assuming your Wife/GF is angry because she's on her period, just give her a hug.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That's so thoughtful and sweet, you must know this first-hand. So anyway, how's the single life?

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

You tell me. Happily married, thanks.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

*concedes to your victory on this particular post in particular*

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

'particular post in particular' ?? You're correcting my grammar and put THAT? My eyes are hurting now.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Obviously it was intentional for humorous purposes. I clearly underestimated your ability for comprehension--yet again.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

AH! Superwoman to the rescue! I LOVE her.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This is why women get pissed because men infantise their feelings and blame women for reacting as anyone would.

13 years ago | Likes 422 Dislikes 37

*some women *some men *some women

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This woman needs a standing ovation.

13 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 7

Standing ovulation?

13 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

Glad I wasn't the only one to read it like that.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Or to calm down about everything...that would be appropriate as well.

13 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 24

I like how you're really into arguing against the popular opinion on this one. I understand your position, but it comes off as rude.

13 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

So? I'm on my period, so I can't get blamed for it. You're all just being stupid, like your whole family.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

you put on your sassy pants today. upvote ma'am

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

While I get where you're going and agree, I feel that I need to point out that "infantise" isn't a word.

13 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 2

My brain just autocorrected to "infantilize". Man, the things your brain does without you noticing. It's scary sometimes! Not now, though...

13 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

Hahahaha, I hear you! p.s. I really enjoy your username :)

13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Yeah, I couldnt find the right word to describe "to make into a child" without sounding even more weird.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Trivialize

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Pretend I typed that instead. Or just pretend I had more characters to work with and didn't need to add a bunch of footnotes.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You got your point across even with the made up word. Shakespeare made up words too.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Nature was angry when it made women. We are weaker, age less well, have periods and babies. Disclaimer: Generalization.

13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

i thought women generally lived longer than men. now that i am older, i see the physical, mental and emotional strength it takes to have

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I guess fathers are just along for the ride, eh? "women are amazing"...really? Do you have any idea how much effort children are?

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

huh that is exactly what i meant, and no i have no idea how much work children are because i'm not a human/ conscious member of society.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

babies and be a mom. we may have less upper body strength, but us women make up for it so many other ways. women are amazing!

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

the only reason we don't age well is because society labeled younger women hotter. not all cultures are like that.

13 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

yes. you get it! <3

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Younger women are more fertile and that is indicated through cues in appearance. It's not a social construction.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

younger men are more fertile as well. yet society isn't obsessed with younger men. i'm sticking with my original statement.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Maternal age is a much better predictor of birth defects than paternal.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

The perspective shared is a blatent reinforcer of negative social messaging regarding women. We are strong, age beautifully, and empathetic.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I am a feminist! But also a realist (I stand by everything I have said). And a bit of an ageist... But, we are more empathetic.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

your 'realism' perpetuates stereotypes of men What you wrote is not true for me or any women I know.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Except females by definition are the main generator of the offspring. By biological definition, a male is a slight level above parasite....

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 5

They may not house the babe for 9 months, but they do provide half the genes. Females can't impregnate themselves.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The bbc article you provided above contradicts your own claim. Am I missing something? Also, many species reproduce normally without males.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

It's called parthenogenesis.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

No, lol. I was being "funny"... It doesn't come across well in type...

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

age less well but look better in general

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Michelangelo thought the male form was aesthetically more pleasing than the female. As a strait, out of shape guy I'd have to agree.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

in my professional opinion, nup, guys are gross. (straight girl with a long term bf. he's beautiful, no one else is)

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I would imagine Michelangelo liked to sculpt men because our muscle structure is more defined, more complex.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Some women also take it as a licence to be total bitches and blame it on this. There are a reason some men assume this.

13 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 16

"Anyone?" That doesn't ring true. Some people just over react, if there isn't some temporary reason, it must be permanent.

13 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 9

Amen.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

YES. It especially happens in arguments, I find. My boyfriend uses it ("you're making a big deal out of nothing") in order to avoid (1)

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

having to own up to mistakes. Even worse still is when he starts cooing at me when I'm trying to raise a serious issue with him (2)

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

("aww look at the little girl being angry, you're so cute"). It just makes me feel like I'm not being taken seriously as a person. (3)

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Just gonna say it... he sounds like a jerk! If he refuses to take you seriously, it's because he only gives credence to his own emotions.

13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

You make a good point and that's a shitty thing for people to do. That said, males get shot down for showing emotion too.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I actually REALLY appreciate it when males show emotion (besides anger). It's not a sign of weakness; it's a sign of strength to me. (1)

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

and women often pretend we don't have them....like when they act as they please and blame it on their period later without apology....

13 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 28

downvoted so I could upvote and give you two points. I'm now going to passive agressively post this to the bf's facebook wall. Girl Power.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

anyone that's not a women, zing! :3c

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

someones on their period....

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 9

Yes, because burying someone alive is a proper response to words. Murder vs offense. Yep. Totally good response. You've offended me,

13 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 30

-I reserve the right to saw through your neck with a chainsaw.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 12

You realize she was just comparing the situations, right? She wasn't threatening to bury someone.

13 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

Yes she was. She absolutely threatened to bury someone.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 6

Alive.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

Knowing it would kill them. That is murder.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

Nnnooo. She was giving an example of how stupid it is to think period=angry. Sleep=dead. See? Stupid.

13 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

Except these tumblr activists have a long-standing history of equating internet textpain with real-life mutilation of men. It's a disgusting

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

If you're a grown women you should really be over the fact that you get your period and that it's uncomfortable.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 10

Try having endometriosis and then come back and say that. This statement is beyond ignorant. It makes me feel sorry for you.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

predisposition, but for the most part, women (mostly teenagers) react to the expectation of having a free pass at being a bitch. Fuck that.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

how women perceive, and react, to their period (and menopause). I understand that some women have a greater burden due to biological >>

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

What percentage of women have endometriosis? 10%, maybe? Do they speak for all women? Studies have shown a massive cultural expectation in >

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

As someone who has studied sociology and institutionalized oppression, what you write can all be disproven by looking into gender research.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Gaslighting makes me seethe, for real.

13 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 6

Like screaming at someone for being stupid, which causes their anger?

13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 14

YES!!!

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

1/2 I think it should be clear though. People dont like it when someone gets angry. Getting angry is a bad thing to do most of the time.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 9

2/2 Its just an underhanded way of expressing frustration with a woman whose too angry. When a guy gets too angry we can just hit his face.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 6

Tell that to Chris Brown.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Getting angry is inherently bad but hitting in the face isn't?

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hitting in the face is a part of getting angry. When a guy tries to say a girl is on her period, it's because he's angry. Calm down I say.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

I'm with you on the last sentence. The rest of that comment makes so little sense I just...wha?

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That escalated quickly!

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I always give my bf a heads-up that the next three days will be cloudy with a chance of irritability, bloating, cravings, and insomnia.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thank God for you.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I try to be a thoughtful girlfriend :)

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well. That escalated quickly.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

you can tell the difference between guys and girls posts....all i gotta say about this is be nice to people and you should be good

13 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

I really wish I had an upvote machine gun for this. It's not about treating men/women right. It's about treating EACH OTHER right.

13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

When I'm on my period I don't act bitchy,I still have the ability to think about what I say before I say it. It just doesn't magically leave

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You, love appear to be in the minority. I have utmost respect for girls who soldier through the pain, not much for ones who go berserk.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My mother never let me act like that no matter how I was feeling. Other people matter too :P

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't understand other guys. They're afraid to ask a girl to dinner, but are okay asking if her uterus is sloughing off blood tissue

13 years ago | Likes 573 Dislikes 11

This is my favorite way to say I'm on my period.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

thank you thank you thank you thank you

13 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Such a good point

13 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

+1 for sloughing off blood

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

its the social awkwardness setting in. as a guy who is awkward but grew up with all my friends being girls, its kinda rude lol

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I'm a woman, and I ask my roommates if they're PMSing if they seem irrational. I'm usually right, and pointing it out to them often helps(1)

13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

them calm down. We can't always change our mood, but at least we can recognize what's happening and not take it out on others.

13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

As a guy, especially if a girl is on her period, be nice. Blood is rocketing out of her genitals. That'd make me upset too.

13 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 5

It doesn't excuse behavior, but it is a variable to consider. I get pissy if I don't have my coffee.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

But that doesn't mean that a woman is upset because she's on her period every time she happens to be both upset and on her period.

13 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Apparently only men can be angry for a reason, and women are either psycho bitches, or 'just hormonal' because of their ladyparts. Fuck that

13 years ago | Likes 179 Dislikes 19

As a dude, it's the opposite if anything: domestic abuse, rape, murder. But still, prejudice is just being lazy and ignorant.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This! Also fuck men who resort to 'she's crazy' after breakups, like a girl expressing a differing opinion to their own MUST be irrational.

13 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 3

Angry for a reason it's fine! I believe this comment will appear if the anger is considered irrational!

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 5

Don't know why you were downvoted, but I intend to fix that.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Abso-fuckin-lutely spot on.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

This! I mean, I agree.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

When a guy can treat a girl badly and pass off any of her responses as 'crazy' - that's when you realise that sexism is still pervasive.

13 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 5

She is just pandering for video views with outdated and sweeping generalizations. It's just tiresome by now

13 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 10

I think she's on her period

13 years ago | Likes 611 Dislikes 102

I wanted to post this while it was still in user submitted but I said "NoOOOoo, I'm still at work. I should be productive" :/

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Well damn, I laughed. If that doesn't make you deserve an upvote, then I don't know what does.

13 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 7

wurd

13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

I was too scared to say it. You're a braver person than I.

13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

Nah she is clean. As a woman, I can detect it. Like sonar.

13 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

Am I allowed to make a bloodhound joke? I respect women, guys. I swear

13 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

That looks like a wide eyed stare with half the face in darkness.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I expected that plot twist in the last gif

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I said the exact same thing.

13 years ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 12

checked your comments. didn't see it, but i'll upvote ya anyway!

best username ever, all the +1s for you

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why thank you kind stranger.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't get mad when I'm on my period I just get sad occasionally...like I've never yelled at anyone, but I cried at a google commercial...

13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Any upvote that I have received should go to you. Truly

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

She's got a YouTube channel! It's called Superwoman, I believe

13 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 1

Awesome! I'm going to have to check that out. Also, holy shit this post was at 250 pts 10 min ago and now it's over 400. O_O

13 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Imgur Gods have been very generous to you. :)

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

She's so freaking hilarious! Do check her out, you'll laugh ahaha

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

it doesn't really apply

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Doesn't EVERY girl get it?

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Am I the only girl who doesn't get really angry at their time of the month? ... am I broken?

13 years ago | Likes 167 Dislikes 16

Severe back aches and sudden gluttony for me. Mood swings are optional. So my boyfriend only has to dole out massages to keep me happy.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

According to evolution, you're fixed!

13 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 0

I don't have a mood change at all!

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

you're what we call.....super lucky! :P

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

happens and I just am having a rough day so I don't feel up to just ignoring it so I get mad and then people are all "are you pmsing?" 4>

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah my girlfriend doesn't either, which is great

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i need chocolate on my period or else it's doomsday for everyone...

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You're not broken. I get irritable which either leads to me spending a week alone in my room crying or cursing humanity.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

marry me?

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No darling, I just get a bit weepy (but less so that I'm not anemic anymore). Best time of the month to watch Disney movies.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

nah, it might just be your awesome. every girl i know is like that, but that could just be me being basically a girl lol

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My tolerance for BS gets lower. I feel like I have a knife in my gut and I'm exhausted for a week, though, so I think I'm mildly justified.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I get super suicidal!

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

No, you aren't. I don't get angry either. I get more emotional. I get warm fuzzies to the point of tearing up very easily.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Nah, I don't either...I just crave more chocolate than usual ;-)

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

no, you are just damn lucky. if your skin doesn't break out either... what the hell.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I don't get hostile either. I only get angry if someone picks on me or is rude but otherwise I'm mostly stuffing my face with chocolate.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think having your period just amplifies the feelings that you get, your sensitivity, etc. You don't really get mad for nothing.

13 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

What about glaring angrily at the fridge because it's making fridge noises

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

this is exactly how I explain it to people who blame whatever emotion on pms. Would've already happened, just a little less extreme

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I disagree :P I know I've gotten mad over nothing, then realize what I've done... then burst into tears... then laugh at my ridiculousness

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I dunno, things which are marginally annoying which I usually ignore easily become a problem e.g. wind blowing in my face

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

nope, I get snippy too, never actually angry.. I do also get weepy though and then I eat salt from the container and then i'm better. :)

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Me neither. I'm just in extreme pain so I'm not the happiest either. But my boyfriend said he'd rather me be bitchy than be in pain

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's really sweet.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He is :)

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm jealous!

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He even gives me massages when my cramps are really bad

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nope, I don't either. I'm angry all the time.

13 years ago | Likes 80 Dislikes 0

You are the Hulk, I am now attracted to you.

13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It might change too. I didnt get the monthly rage until I was 23, but at the same time I dont get the bad cramping pain anymore.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I don't get angry, I get really sad about EVERYTHING. But it only happens the two days before I get my period.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You missed the angst bus! OK before you fuckers downvote me it's a joke.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I thought that was good!

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

=D

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

'hormonal mood swings' mostly refers temporary lethargic or depressed feelings. asshats like to think it means any time you're angry ever.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't. I get sad sometimes. But not angry.

13 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Same. I get sad, hence the stuffing of the face with chocolate.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Some periods I'm perfectly fine an happy, others I get really mood-swingy. Our bodies are weird .___.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

and basically I just want to kill everyone because that phrase pisses me off too at this point. So. Uh. No you're not broken.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

My fiancee is a cuddlebug, (which I gladly do) so no, you

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nah. Pretty damn close to no one can tell when I'm on it. I'm the same all the time.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I Actually differentiate between "P.M.S." and period. in other words, women get angry BEFORE it starts.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So... How you doin?

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

I'm cramping and I just want to sit down and relax but I can't because there's cotton shoved up my vaj but it's sitting wrong and it hurts2>

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Apparently if you can feel it, it's not inserted correctly. Fair warning: the following may be TMI but the non-applicators are easier to

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah usually they're fine, actually, but sometimes it's, ah, too dry or I'm just stupiding and insert it wrong or such.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

insert properly.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sometimes it's not just the hormones, or not related to them at all--sometimes it's just that I'm bleeding profusely from my vagina and 1>

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Ouch the tampon thing sounds painful! Try incontinence pads. That's what I used when I have a really heavy flow. They are more absorbent.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's actually exactly what I do. But I'm totally paranoid when I go out and wear a tampon and then sometimes things just go horribly wrong

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Both is always best.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

too and I had to wash me sheets again this morning so I'm short-tempered and stuff that normally pisses me off but I just ignore it 3>

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I don't assume my wife is on her period if she gets angry. I assume she is on her period if she gets angry because I'm drinking orange juice

13 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

As a female, I recognize this behavior and say to myself, "self, calm the fuck down." Then I go cry in the corner.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why can't I give you more than one upvote??!

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Your discernment is astounding. Please teach my husband these subtle differences... for his sake.

"What, are you gonna drink that, ya prick?"

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I could not have said that better.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I am not that bad and you know it lol <3

13 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 4

Lol I know baby :P Thankfully the PMS rage is a rarity :D

You're drinking Florida's Best?! In this house, we drink Tropicana!

haha, going to have to tell my husband about this. Thank you for the laughs today :)

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Oh man. You actually made me laugh. That hasn't happened in so long.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I knew a girl that freaked out on her boyfriend once over getting a soda and him not asking if she wanted one....but she wouldn't tell him-1

why she was upset for 20 minutes.

Word. Yet it seems some of the ladies here fail to notice this line of reasoning.

13 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 11

Do you think...maybe they're just on their period or something?

13 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 4

I dunno. Methinks they thinks we too clueless to compute. Haha. Oh man this post is whacked.

13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 5

The problem is that dismissing every display of frustration as a woman being "on her period" is saying that her annoyance is never rational.

13 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

The PROBLEM is dismissing genuine questions. Dismissive twats who pull the rag gag at every instance are not worth your time.

13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 7

"You're drinking that again!? You're so selfish, why didn't you pour me some. You always drink orange juice with that stupid expression!"

My husband actually said "Are you PMSing or something?" to me today.. It didn't help the situation...

13 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

he should just be sorry...

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

That's actually a nice way of letting you know you're being irrational.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 6

"You're being irrational" is far nicer than asking that inherently pissy question.

13 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

In my experience, that is immediately taken as a challenge and "are you PMSing?" turns on a lightbulb. Of course, not everyone is the same.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

That question is never a win. Either you aren't "PMSing" and it's insulting or you are it's going to piss you off. There is no upside.

13 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

This comment was so great I just upvoted all of the replies! <3

I just snorted orange juice through my nose. My wife is going to be so angry.

you Sir - are hilarious.

My wife got mad at me when she asked what socks I wanted to wear and I said that I didn't care.

One time I forgot to say God bless you after she sneezed- then I hear "NOTHING TO SAY? I MAY AS WELL BE FUCKING DEAD YOU ASS!"

13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I get angry about this also, but its because he drinks it at night; orange juice is a breakfast drink!

13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

haha! And judging by your username, you are VERY serious about your breakfast drinks.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

About a week before, I just cry at every single episode of Grey's Anatomy. Also that's usually when I want to watch it for some reason.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes, a week of PMS`ing and then a week of bloodshed, crying and binging, how I love being female at times.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

this is so accurate...it hurts

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

oh honey i will be right in that corner with you. i'll bring the dark chocolate to mix.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I do the same. The Mad Day and the Sad Day.

13 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 0

Mad week is more like it for me....I just get sad after I realize what a bitch I've been

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is the most accurate description of that time for myself.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, there have been studies that show that there's no measurable difference in behavior the week of. Any effect happens the week...

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

...before. I would go find a source, but I'm tired so you'll have to take my word for it or remind me another time.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well...I do have a change of behavior the week of, as do other females as you can read. We just get depressed, not angry usually xD

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You sound like me. I get unnaturally bitchy and irritated a week before, but during I nest like crazy and eat all the bad foods.

13 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

ME TOO!! The week before, I am a raging. The week during, I am fatigued and so emotional I will cry if I run out of staples at work

13 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Once I got so angry and frustrated that I threw a fork across the kitchen... because I couldn't open a ramen. And then I cried :\

13 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I threw a stapler across my office because it kept jamming-bought a new stapler that was "indestructible" after that...it still works

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I thought I was alone in that!

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

+1 for I totally know what you mean

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The worst I've had is almost passing out in a school hallway from dizziness and then going to the orchestra room and crying for no reason.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I work with my friend, and we're synced up, we both get hostile and angry the week before. It is pure hell.

13 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 1

Me and my besty who I'm synced with designate our "gym week" during this week xD it works out well! haha

13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

as a male, the whole syncing up thing freaks me the fuck out

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It really is. Most of the time it happens cause we take the pill at the same time

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So glad I'm not the only one. I feel like everyone hates me and cry over everything after I start.

13 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

That is why PMS = Premenstrual syndrome Pre as in before. So technically this girl has it wrong.

13 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 5

Well, I can still agree that it does suck to have serious anger be dismissed as "PMS" for me, if it's PMS, you'll know xDD

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not all guys get this. Some assume angry woman=on her period because they have no idea what PMS stands for. They just know they're connected

13 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Same with me, during it I feel like crying at everything, I cry at a sad songs especially! on my bike.. in a lecture...

13 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

My brain shuts off and I begin devouring everything in the house before the pain hits and the bloodgates open.

13 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

My full on ape shit crazy day is the day before, then I'm a rollercoaster of tears the next 3 days, then I'm nearly human by the 4th day.

13 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

this is ridiculously accurate

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Scientifically: a ricochet of hormones. Or: its anger as your body learns you are wasting the egg it put out for you to have fertilized!

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

But as a reward if you do get pregnant, then you get 7 pound baby trying to exit your vagina

13 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

me too. I'm not moody the week of, but I am in incredible pain & wanting SALT.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I like eating salty things while I do homework. It keeps me on my toes.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Me too. Replace salty foods with sugar.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I pretty much hibernate with McDonald's french fries until the storm passes.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

For me it's those, and strawberry cream pies ;-;

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

See, I can't do sugar! I just want to look salt out of a bowl and die.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I always feel the need to clean all the things when I am on mine and eat ice cream of all things.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ditto. Salt- salt is good.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Do you eat them like a house mouse? Because the image of you nibbling on a salitine held with both hands is adorable.

Whenever I'm in a bad mood or get angry for an actual reason. Or just don't agree with someone. Or...yeah. All the time.

13 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Yep.

13 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

Pretty much. Especially if we aren't prone to angry outbursts. If someone fucks up and we call them on it, they assume we're hormonal..

13 years ago | Likes 118 Dislikes 2

right you're not hormonal you just have anger issues...

13 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 40

It's not anger issues to get mad at someone.

actually even more than once based on the numbers ^^

13 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Almost all the time.

13 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

13 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 3

As long as guys continue to ask this, yes.

13 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Does every man or otherwise another human being have to ask if I'm on my period when I'm upset/ bitchy?

13 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Although it's been said, to stress the point.. YES

13 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

maybe because there are guys out there that ask if a girl is on their period quite often.... your question makes you sound like them

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Unfortunately there is a large proportion of my gender (sorry about those twatbadgers) who mean they usually have to :(

13 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 7

Hitler was a man, you going to apologize for what he did, too? Hey, can you apologize for Charles Manson?

as a guy, if a girl reacts in a way that seems unrational to us, we like to assume it's a temporary ailment rather than just them.

Assume it all you want. Avoid the ballistic response by keeping it to herself.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Wouldn't another option be that there's a rationale you haven't considered as to why they are mad?

I'd rather assume temporary irrationality than assume it's inherent to the person.
