Glad I don't have to use one of those as this would definitely happen to me.

Good morning!!

#7 I initially squealed aloud like a little frightened girl because I thought he'd broken his ankle before realising on the third watch that he just lost both of his shoes. Tie your fucking shoelaces up.

#10 At that point you kind of have to steal the bike just to save face. Make it look like you meant to do this

#1 Full marks to the camera operator

Hi Wazert! Quality post as usual good sir.

#11 i had a chemo infusion, leaving the floor was prohibited. A spill or something worse like this would be a hazardous cleanup.

Yeah, the same stuff being pumped directly into my heart, they didn't even want it to hit my veins.

Good morning! With all the planning they put into #4 just who the hell thought "lets put a hard table right where the guy is going to landing"?!

Always look forward to your posts.
Hope you're feeling better, man

#7 I wasn’t sure whether to follow the guy with the basketball or the guy falling over, so was darting my eyes back and forth between them. I didn’t spot that the guy falling had his shoe fall off, so the next time I looked back at him I thought he’d broken/bent his ankle. Glad it wasn’t as horrifying as that.

11 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Betcha he laces up his shoes from now on.

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Omg yes! I broke my ankle last October and it looked just like that. I froze when the 2nd shoe came halfway off like that.

I'm so confused by this. Is it an automatic motorcycle? If it was in gear it would have stalled

11 months ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

The way the person on the other side is looking down just before the person on this side revs the engine, I think the rider just got incredibly unlucky and it was kicked into gear just as it was about to be revved. I don't know for sure, but that's my best guess, as much of a long shot as it may be.

That last one... Imagine the tube being yanked out... [shudder] Also, glad you're back bud!

11 months ago | Likes 110 Dislikes 0

A one-picture horror story.

11 months ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

Gotta say the number of times people (particularly men for some reason) accidentally yank you their cath tubes is horrifying.. there's an inflated balloon at the bladder end to keep it in place, so it's tear inducingly painful to pull it out without deflating the balloon..

11 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Great balls of fire. I can only imagine it's like having a bladder infection and pissing lemon juice at the same time...

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The only consolation I can provide is that its not always attached to the urethra. Sometimes they put a hole/port on your side that attaches directly to the bladder. I imagine that's a bit less traumatizing

11 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Only if it's not locked into place by some sort of latch...

11 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It has an inflated balloon on the internal part that is between 10.and 30.mL...very ouch to pull out and often causes damage.

11 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

#11 a dumb friend of mine doesn´t get it at all - can s/o help?

11 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Foley catheter.

11 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Thin (ish) tube is lubed up and pushed into the pee-hole. It's painful and burns like molten lead going in. Based on the one reply here, it has a small balloon at the end that is inflated to keep it in place so it does not just slide out on its own. Different story if it's trapped in an elevator door and your elevator is going up... And you see that little tube rapidly get pulled taut... The little tube that dissappears under the hem of your hospital gown...

11 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That's a catheter bag that is most commonly attached toa tube that goes through the urethra into the bladder (less commonly through the abdominal wall into the bladder). These suggests this was ripped out of the patient violently.

11 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Always love these! But anytime I see one that’s in a gym, I immediately scroll on by before I see something horrific

#8 What happened to him?

11 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Doot

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When you tense up and put a lot of effort into your muscles, your blood pressure rises, when you suddenly relax those muscles (by letting go off the weights), your blood pressure drops just as suddenly and if it doesnt compensate fast enough then your brain doesn’t get enough blood/oxygen and you pass out. He regains consciousness because in an horizontal position, blood can flow back into the brain easier and reactivate functions.

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think he passed out after the lift.

#2 reminds me of the time when I saw Hackers as a youth and thought it would be a good idea to spray paint my laptop. I mean I didn't do it, mostly because I didn't have a laptop and didn't have any spray paint, but it probably would have turned out like that. Sticky.

"mostly because I didn't have a laptop and didn't have any spray paint." 🤣🤣🤣Not the plot twist I was expecting. Thank you for laugh.

11 months ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

Yea all I could think about was how much of the soles of their feet were left behind... those sandles lasted a fraction of a second after contact x.x

11 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Hazard lights and safety sandals, I see no issue with this. /s

Sandals acted with the specification lint and worked as expected.

Feel bad for the food.

#11 Oh god damn....

11 months ago | Likes 55 Dislikes 1

I seriously feel bad for whoever-damn life can be cruel

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That would hurt a bit, wouldn't it?

11 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Can you explain this one please?

11 months ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

That is a catheter bag, attached to someone's bladder. It got dropped and left behind in the elevator, presumably still attached, and got yanked out when the doors closed and elevator started moving.

11 months ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 0

That’s the scream I heard…

11 months ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Oh Jesus! That’s a different kind of pain right there.

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

For those who don't know... After they insert it, the far end of the tube gets inflated inside the bladder to make it stay put.

So it's like passing a kidney stone the size of a marble out your pee hole but really, REALLY fast.

11 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

OH
oh
oh noooooooo

11 months ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 0

Don't forget the balloon

11 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

As someone who fairly recently had a catheter after a kidney stone operation that was my first thought... The amount of ripping and tearing that must have caused to whomever this happened to... Especially if it was a man (longer urethra + prostate = a lot more damage and bleeding for sure). I mean removing the catheter even normally isn't exactly pleasant, I don't even want to imagine how much that must have hurt.

#6 Probably just as well he flipped the "candle" into the cake before it fired that load up his nose or into his eyes.

11 months ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

That load? The sparkles?
If you don't shove it into an enclosed space to build up pressure there's no "load" to go anywhere.

Unconstrained expansion of gas is usually not a big deal, while a constrained expansion of gas is a bomb.

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's a fountain candle (basically a tube of ground sparkly fire that goes in one direction). He turned it upside-down and smothered it, creating the rapid expansion of cake.

11 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

He fucked about, then cake around.

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Is that really all it was? I was going by the pronounced BAM! it produced; I would have expected a gas explosion in a soft cake to be more of a FOOMF.

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Looks like it, aye. When he inverts it, the heat goes up into the powder and activates too much at once. Luckily they're designed to be relatively safe even when they catastrophically fail, the non-burning end is uncapped and the tube is usually wax sealed paper, so it's closer to a weak firecracker than a pipebomb

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Okay, that makes sense. Thanks!
