Tattoo Journey
So I moved to Australia in 2013, I left my best friend behind. I always said I'd get a matching tattoo so he was always with me, 10,000+ miles from each other.
After one I couldn't stop
I had big ideas. I wanted to finally do what I wanted to do after not being myself for a very long time and struggling to accept myself for me.
I've always loved J Scott Campbell's work
I soon realized I have a very high pain threshold.

So this is how far I have got to.
Currently waiting for my last session to heal then I'll head back for more. Probably another session left to finish the bottom half of my leg. My artist Tom is going to be at Melbourne Tattoo expo along with myself where we will be working on Dorothy and the gang. I will also have another new addition by then as we are working on another new piece but that's a surprise.

$300 for how many hours of work? My guy charges about $140 an hour to do that quality; mine that size will run me about $1000.

That's not bad. It's just hard to get any detail in three hours on a tattoo of any size. That side piece looked like three 4hr sessions.
