I have my realistic dream car but I never drive it because I want to take care of it and most people on the roads are idiots. Only put 2000 miles on it last year. I drive my Subaru 95% of the time. It makes me sad.
I've done similar. I just...never expected to get this far and I can't believe I did it. Never expected to buy a car, never expected to get married never expected to rent an apartment never expected to buy a house. I never expected to earn enough to live. So sometimes, when I do a big thing, it's all I can do not to take a couple minutes and be incredulous.
I am just picturing the neighbour seeing your post and starring at it for another 15 minutes, totally satisfied of all the comments who get him while he enjoys another bag of chips :D
Fun fact: This guy is my son's doctor and except for that being his kid's car it is accurate. His neighbor later apologized for making him famous but he was cool with it. He sells t-shirts with the photo at his office. This is literally how my wife found out what a meme was.
Yes. Wash those hands first. Imagine... your first big drive out past the edge of town. A bird swoops down to feast on a former rodent, you swerve, your greasy mits slip for a split second before you tighten your grip, but you're sliding fast towards an immovable obstacle... too late.
When I get my credit up enough (it's just under 700 right now. I want it to be above 750 before I do this), I'm gonna start a 3 year lease on a WRX. I can't wait!
Valve cover gaskets are the only things that have given me serious trouble, and that’s because I opted to replace them without disturbing the block. The clearance for the covers is nonexistent.
Sort of? But also no. It has a lower center of gravity, and is naturally a bit better balanced than I4. But the lower center of gravity in a sedan is probably minimal, as the car is tallish. But it sounds cool. And it's fun.
I was never lucky enough to have the turbo charged version but I got a hand me down 5 speed, '94 G20 with the SR20DE in it and that car was so fun to drive. So I'm right there with you.

But it's a WRX - this is a normal reaction.

Seriously though, are the benefits worth the hassle with the horizontally opposed boxer engines?
