The Amazing, Random, and Suprisingly Dark Land Of Ooo

For some reason this shows simple world fascinates me and I really don't know why. So because I love it so much and because I feel like you guys might too I'm going to show those people who have maybe only seen a few episodes everything you need to know about the beautiful and weird land of Ooo.

You may not of heard of Ooo's dark beginnings. Ooo takes place on post apocalyptic Earth due to the "Mushroom War" Some think of this as a conspiracy theory but it's been confirmed by the creator of the show.

The Mushroom War was a nuclear war between unknown armies for unknown reasons. It's named after the huge mushroom clouds that were a result of multiple nuclear bombs going off. Here in the opening we can see nuclear bombs and throughout the show you can find buried cars and scattered pieces of broken technology from today's times.

Few survived and most of those who did became mutated. Marcy and Simon (who becomes ice king) were some of the few who survived. Both are over 1000 years old when Adventure Time takes place and now have strange powers and skin coloring.

Almost all of human life was wiped out though. Finn has been thought to be the only normal human left.

As life rebuilt itself people and animals evolved into the strange and different types of creatures and races of people that are on the show.

After all of this the land became known as Ooo. Ooo is separated mainly into: The Ice Kingdom, The Candy Kingdom, Castle Lemongrab, The Wilberry Kingdom, Lumpy Space, Fire Kingdom, Cloud Kingdom. There are also many other places that don't belong to any kingdoms like: The Evil Forests, The Bad Lands, And The City Of Thieves.

Ice Kingdom:

Is ruled by Ice King. One of the only known buildings in the Ice Kingdom is Ice King's castle. The inhabitants of the Ice Kingdom are sparse and include penguins and a few other snow related creatures such as Snow Golem who owns a cabin which is the only building known besides Ice King's castle.

Candy Kingdom:

Is ruled by Princess Bubblegum. Princess Bubblegum and some of the first Candy People built the Candy Kingdom and the walls around it. It originally was built near a radioactive river which had to be buried in candy. There are many forests and mountains and grasslands that belong to the candy kingdom and anyone who lives there is taxed.

Castle Lemongrab:

was originally built by Princess Bubblegum for Lemongrab to live in because she knew he didn't get along with others. Lemongrab felt he deserved citizens though and used a candy life potion to create his own people called the Lemon People. Bubblegum creates Lemongrab 2 to help Lemongrab rule and not feel so lonely. Leomongrab eventually enslaves his people and eats Lemongrab 2 and the Lemon People who try to escape. Lemonhope is then sent and he with the help of the people explode Lemongrab. Lemongrab 3 is then created out of parts of Lemongrab, Lemongrab 2, and the Lemon People. Lemongrab 3 rules over the people today.

Wildberry Kingdom:

is a giant bush that is ruled by Wildberry Princess and inhabited by different berry shaped people. The whole kingdom is covered in trees and leaves and the outside is a bush with a tree like shape and a stump.

Lumpy Space:

is a cloudy cityscape inhabited by the Lumpy Space People. The portal to enter Lumpy Space is inside the Candy Forest (which is in the Candy Kingdom) inside a frog and requires a password. Some of the only vegetation are elm trees scattered across space. Most of Lumpy Space is purple and blue but "Make Out Point" is orange and green. The Lumpy Space people have a negative view of outsiders and the word "lump" is a swear word. Lumpy Space Princess is the princess of Lumpy Space and like all Lumpy Space People can infect people with "the lumps" by biting them with her teeth.

Fire Kingdom:

is made up of volcanoes and seas of lava. It's monarchy live inside the Fire Palace. Most of its inhabitants (including the Fire King) consider themselves to be evil. Fire Wolves are scattered in packs around the Fire Kingdom and can roam free. Flame Princess is the daughter of the Fire King and a ruler of the Fire Kingdom.

Cloud Kingdom:

is a huge land of clouds inhabited by tall cloud like people called (of course) Cloud People. There are also cloud shaped birds and animals. The Cloud Kingdom's ruler is unknown (if there's a ruler at all). Rainicorn and Finn go to parties here sometimes and that's really all that's known about it.

Evil Forest:

is a huge forest that doesn't belong to any kingdoms inhabited by a variety of hostile creatures such as mutated street signs and trees. The only real known item of value in the Evil Forest is the Crystal Apple which Tree Trunks, Finn, and Jake go to find.

The Bad Lands:

are vast lands of sand in the southern region of Ooo. The Bad Lands are filled with destroyed pieces of technology from before the Mushroom War. The Bad Lands are filled with small settlements such as the Breakfast Kingdom and the Slime Kingdom. It's also part of the Desert of Doom.

The City of Thieves:

is a dome covered city run by the King Of Thieves. The city doesn't actually have any laws and everyone is just constantly stealing from each other. The city's legend is that anyone who goes there will eventually become a thief.

The Tree Fort:

is the home of Finn and Jake. It's a huge hollowed out willow tree and is an outpost on the grasslands owned by the Candy Kingdom. Finn and Jake are taxed by the Candy Kingdom just like all the others. There are many cool rooms for many different purposes and it's filled with random furniture and things Finn and Jake have found.

The Grand Meeting Of Ooo Royalty:

is a meeting of the various rulers of Ooo besides the Earl of Lemongrab. The actual topics of these meetings are unknown.

Religion of Ooo:

The primary religion of Ooo is worshiping Grob Gob Glob Grod. Grob Gob Glob Grod or often just called Glob was a former deity from Mars. They were four brothers who sacrificed themselves to save Mars from a comet. There are other potential godlike beings such as Party God and Death.

Currency:

The currency of Ooo is two different types of bills: giant bills and regular bills and various coins. Some store owners prefer to barter.

Languages:

Korean: spoke by Rainicorns and occasionally Bubblegum.
German: "the preferred language of demons."
French: occasionally the Flame King

Many books are in Spanish and Latin and some Japanese phrases are used by Jake.

Well I hope you liked this. I really don't know why I posted it other then the fact that I just love how this random place isn't actually as random as you first think. Also I'm extremely bored.
