I make a bit less than what my dad made by the time he retired. It only took me 20 extra years to reach the point he reached when he was 25... except he had 4 kids and I have 0.
Would purple be better?
My work is pushing the use of AI. They recently gave us an AI course to take. 90% of the course is "be sure to tell it ahead of time to not make shit up, admit when it's wrong. Then when you have the output ask if it is made shit up. Then research the output to make sure it's not made up. Isn't AI great?
I'm a mortgage underwriter so I get to see the financials of tons of different kinds of people. I've seen doctors still on income-based repayment plans on their $400k-$700k student loans. Making great money but still struggling to qualify for a mortgage because they're drowning in debt.
It's about Shenanigans. He's a spy who needs a fake family for a mission, she's an assassin who needs a fake family to get her brother off her case, the kid's an orphan who just wants a family. Only the kid knows the other's backstories and thinks it's the coolest thing ever. Shenanigans Ensue.
Skipping steps happened to my oldest sister. She wasn't really speaking and my parents were concerned enough to take her to a speech therapist and considered holding her back from kindergarten. The therapist was like "well, send her to school, let her try." She came back from the first day of school and said "I didn't like it there, I'd rather not go back." Turns out she didn't have a problem speaking... she just had nothing to say.
In a very real way, Punisher represents a *failure* of police. He became who he is because the police were unwilling or unable to take care of the problem themselves. Police who drool over punisher are saying "I'm fucking awful at my job and hope someone else does it for me."
I have it on good authority (source: I wish it was true) that all animals love hugs.

Magic: Arena is actually not too bad. The rules are baked in so you get pretty quick feedfback on "what I thought the rules were" vs "what the rules actually are," plus it's ladder algo is actually pretty good for matchmaking so you generally play with people with comparable "power" to you (as a combination of playing skill and how good the deck is). Unranked matchmaking is super weird, though.
You can if you work retail or another job that commonly has weekend hours.

I don't like soy milk for the same reason. I like cows milk but my gut doesn't. Oat milk is fine.
I've been saying for years that most of the ultra-wealthy are fucking losers. Ask anyone who makes less than generational wealth what they would do with generational wealth and they'd tell you about the places they'd go, the things they'd do, the hobbies they purse. What do ultrawealthy losers? Work. They work. Because they're fucking losers that don't know how to have a life.
Good luck banning sharia law while avoiding banning non-binding private party arbitration. I'd love to see how you ban sharia law without also banning 1 buddy mediating between 2 friends.
I hate that 'new' slivers are not symmetrical. The whole point is the hive mind, I think they lost something special when they changed to "slivers YOU control."
And waaaay too much work. He shouldn't need to squat down for every swing. I'm sure he's well experienced and knows what he's doing, maybe it's a speed technique thing, but there's no way that technique is sustainable to cut more than a demonstration patch of field, especially since it's throwing cut grass everywhere and good technique should leave it piled in rows.
I don't think NDAs are *ever* appropriate for a city counsel to sign. Like, their entire job is to run the city in trust for the public. How can they do that if the public is not allowed to know what they are doing?
