If you want to play battlenet or steam games hmu. Come prepared for heavy lifting.

The supreme court would allow him to proceed with throwing the statue into one of those car shredders while they waited to hear arguments on whether he had the legal authority to take the statue down.

I prefer to remember him for his contributions to landing a man on the moon ahead of the Soviets.

15 more years and he'll be old enough to run for president.

We can wait until the end of time and the right wing will never vote for anything other than a straight white old racist sexist man. If there is ever a woman president, or another black president, it will be in spite of the right wing, not because of them. The froth is here to stay.

That's why every senator that voted to confirm him (and hegseth, and gabbard, and noem, and rfk jr, and bondi) bears responsibility for bringing us here. Patel and company didn't just get slotted in to an open position. They were put there by group effort.

It's also way more expensive to commit a reporter to several months of investigative journalism, including travel and lodging, for an end result of one story that may or may not get read, versus spending an afternoon on a clickbait piece with a spooky headline or a celebrity tie-in that you can write from the newsroom.

I feel like even that would be a tough business model. Why drive to the store to buy a box with a code in it when you can get the same thing at home without getting off the couch?

Certainly >99%. Who even remembers the last time a pc game had a physical release.

#8 Also it seems likely that the genie could give you "a lifetime supply" of pastry by giving you one pastry and killing you immediately after you eat it. This wish is just ripe for exploitation.

Unfortunately it means democrats need to pick up 5 seats instead of 4 to win the senate majority.

Because the athletes weren't put in charge of making the rules about whether or not they should be allowed to gamble on their games.

I think this is broadly true for trump voters that remember the beforefore, but voters who are like 25 or younger have grown up with trump at the center of their entire political memory. He's been at this dumb ugly game of his for over a decade now and younger voters don't know what politics without trump even looks like. Examples of leadership that pierce that veil may help show them that it doesn't have to be like this. Polling certainly suggests that there is huge buyers remorse with them.

Correct. Yesterday a good chunk of republican senators were vocal about how this MOU was a complete disaster, but by today their talking points had been circulated and they were all back in line.

Trump did say if we voted for Kamala our grocery bills would skyrocket, and wouldn't you know it, I voted for Kamala and my grocery bills skyrocketed.

We're going back in to finish the winning that we've been winning every day since our first total win back in hour one, which followed the complete win that we won last year.

Oh no, they definitely worked! The trade deficit reverse-lowered, foreign market opportunites negative-grew and all the tariff income that didn't not get not paid by foreign countries inverse-shrank our budget deficit so drastically that opposite-real refund checks won't be sent to American taxpayers!

"Yeah, Trump destroyed my market, I went bankrupt, and I lost the farm that's been in my family for 8 generations. But the democrats failed to stop Trump from doing that to me. That's why I'm still all-in on Trump."

To be fair (and I say this as a coffee drinker), coffee smells way better than it tastes, no matter how good you think it tastes.

That is the most stark difference between the robber barons of yesteryear and the absurdly wealthy of today. Rockefeller, Carnegie, and Ford were all greedy, but at least they felt some sense that if they had gotten all the money on earth then they had a duty to dribble some back in social enrichment. But where is the Bezos Public Library? The Zuckerberg Education Fund? The Ellison Center for the Arts? The Musk Science Foundation? The only thing that motivates any of them is hoarding more.

Much of the Paul Revere notoriety comes from the Longfellow poem from 1903. Like others have commented, Revere did not complete his whole ride and was not the only rider. I'd guess that Longfellow wasn't necessarily looking to distort history, but was probably trying to simplify the story by focusing on one character. Maybe Revere was just lucky enough to have a name that was easy to make rhymes with 🤣

I'm having the same thought. I'm wondering if right-wing sources are trying to wind up Hunter Biden frenzy again to distract from... I mean, throw a dart at the wall, it's all bad for them. It just feels very manufactured to hear nothing about him for a year and a half and then suddenly he's everywhere for no discernible reason.
