As a buyer of flat and long metal products, I can assure you it won’t be.

Shorting doesn’t necessarily mean “manipulation”. Plenty of stocks are shorted simply based on speculation that the value will drop.
Because by allowing sales only they can effectively manipulate share prices. They’re protecting the large firms that pay their bills.
Let’s not forget that the HFT firms also got in on this as the share price increased.

Vet doesn’t seem to think it’s acne, but I’ll try wiping it daily. He’s a fussy little bastard, so he’s gonna hate it tremendously.
That’s what I thought too. I changed to all metal bowls and clean them daily. Hasn’t seemed to help.
He definitely does, but I don’t notice him do it more on that side. The gray patch is only on one side of his face.
Could be. The vet “doesn’t like the look of it”, but can’t figure out what it is. I think that’s what has me worried.
