My mom taught me two things before I hit puberty. 1. If any ever proposes marriage to you; you're allowed to say no. 2. It's okay not to want to be pregnant, you have options and support.

I can no longer digest fruit sugars; I can't eat anything with HFCS, any fruits or and most all veggies other than potatoes and lemons/limes.Every doctor forgets, every doctor encourages fruits and vegetables. And for an ironic twist of fate I was vegetarian for 10 years earlier in my life.Self advocating means telling doctors when they are wrong and correcting them, if they can't handle that they aren't the doctor for me.
