44yo by calendar, 20+ by mental age on good days, 150+ on bad ones. Mostly deaf, cyborgization performed on both sides of head. Quite shy and introverted outside of the Net, but still love it when people stop by to just say hi
If you indeed have enough personal infrastructure (solar, private well etc.), you might be able to run your own household for a while. Nevertheless, you will quickly run into problems with sourcing food and other critical supplies.
And before my dumbass-hillbilly "associates" laugh about having gas generators: no electricity also means no gas pumps (those are pretty universally electric).

Is anyone else eerily reminded of those natural history museum wax models of Neanderthals?
While AI has at times been an assistive tool for my job, it has never been a requirement for it. I have done that job for multiple decades before ever utilizing AI for it, and I can easily go back to doing it without any AI assistance.

I had tickets to his September concert in Helsinki, Finland... sooooo bummed out on multiple levels :(
I have a bottle of whisky that's not distilled anymore (AFAIK, it could be the last of it's kind)... When the orange pusbag finally kicks the bucket, I'll be emptying that bottle. It's sooo going to be worth it.

Nah, I thought it was obvious from the frigging beginning... Handmaid's Tale's (horrible) world is literally what they want.
Seriously: if one "briefly regains consciousness" in hospital, they definitely won't be dressed like that. This "photo" stinks to high heaven (maybe even more than Turtle's rotting corpse RN)

Pretty much what I was thinking all the way through these photos. In pretty much anything else here she was stunning, whereas in the WW uniform, not nearly as much.

And the last few braincells he used to have.
While I like the asymmetry, I'm slightly worried about all the angles the books are in. The spines aren't really supported here, so they might break with time. That said, if the books aren't particularly important / have collectible, or sentimental value, never mind :D
I like this execution. The books will be upright (90 degree between shelf and support), so it shouldn't cause undue stress on their bindings.
