The genius of it is that Smith is there working by promoting a movie she has to know is shit ( hey, it paid her bills and work is work) but has to get through it but the guy next to her picked up on the vibe that the movie was crap and had a field day with it.Norm McDonald was a treasure and one of the few who could make hosts like Conan actually laugh instead of the polite fake laugh they let out when a guest tries to be funny.

There is truth to that. When i was in my early 20s we used to go this trucker restaurant that served gigantic portions for cheap after a late movie. Great times.I eat that heavy and much today at that hour in my early 50s you better know i won't sleep well and the following day is ruined.

Completely agree. It is the unspoken assumption that foreign people are dirty and unhygienic just because they prepare food outside and not in a completely kiited out professional stainless steel kitchen.And none of their parents nor they themselves have ever worn a single glove when cooking their own food as if their natural germs and bacteria on their skin is somehow less "dangerous" than those of brown people.
Or trailers for some movies that have a pre-trailer attached before the actual trailer starts. Like WTF??
harder as i was shocked by the sudden scream and finished the maneuver, my dad woke up too and as a driver quicikly assessed the non-situation.As soon as i was done overtaking the truck i let loose on my mom - i have rarely shouted at my mom this hard in my life and especially with my dad present ( who would have kicked my ass for doing so), i was so mad in that moment because what if i had lost control of the car at highway speeds.
#5 This actually happened to me. My parents and me were visiting some distant relatives in another town and i was driving back at night. Dad dozing off in the passenger seat and mum sleeping in the backseat.I had classical music on but very quiet and was driving along. Just as i was overtaking a truck in a long curve my mom woke up, completely misread the situation and started screaming because she thought we were about to crash.Fortunately for all of us i just grabbed the steering wheel 1/2

The first thing i noticed. Way back when i was a teenager my dad laid hardwood floors in two rooms without kneepads, fucked up his knees for quite a while.
As a manager i sometimes made the mistake of picking up my phone as i was already dressed to go with the result i had to add another 30 minutes or an hour. At least my company tracked working hours to the second and we could use OT to get days off or come in later/leave earlier.
Liked the running gag but then again there also shouldn't be the original Enterprise ( Constitution Class) or her refit version as she blew up over Genesis in Star Trek III.I'm such a nerd!
on October 7th 2023 - a horrible terrorist attack but they knew the Israeli response would be beyond horrible as they took massive revenge and here we are 3 years later and the world now at least dislikes Israel if not outright hates the country for what they did to Gaza as a response.This is how terrorism works and it is extremely effective.

People who resort to terrorism usually do it because they have no other realistic option to strike back and it's never about the raw damage they do but the psychological and social damage afterwards.9/11 has turned the Americans batshit insane and they went on an uncontrolled rampage changing their society and solidifying the hate of Muslims when the american army bombed weddings and killed children ( by mistake but it still happened).The same with Israel 1/2
It's one of my largest pet peeves - the smartphone age has ruined videos online and i will never understand why people prefer vertical videos when they're on the phone. Is it so hard to turn the phone 90 degrees and hold it that way?
Started off funny, got shocked when some parents sent their kids flying hard! WTF is wrong with them?Protection equipment or not, you don't throw your kid around like that!
The Lincoln will likely take the posting of the Washington in Japan and Thailand is just along the way so the Navy must have figured it would be a good shore leave spot since Thailand and especially Pattaya are holiday hotspots and well equipped to provide all kinds of amusements.
