I've just been lucky to be good enough to find freelance work, and also a lot of it is just being frugal with money as well

It was rough times at first, but fun. Then there were rough times that weren't fun. Now it's mostly good times!

I'd say there are light elements of pokemon, sure

I just downloaded a game engine and ran with it. Now that I think about it though, I also used RPGmaker a very long time ago

Maybe my love for Legend of Mana subconsciously worked its way into my game

Hopefully the mechanics I'm bringing to the table are unique and refreshing enough. I think the Pocket Garden is my most innovative so far

Thanks! I've also heard that people who aren't really interested in this kind of game are more open to it because of the creatures

The limit is based on things like creature size, your bond, strength and more. If I ever implement co-op, switching control might be a thing

Thanks! When people were impressed with my game mechanics early on, I was hoping that if I worked hard, things would work out, and they did!

Thanks for checking out the demo! It took a couple of releases to get it playing smoothly and mostly bug free.

Get started like how I did. I just downloaded Construct 2 and made my little crappy sprites move around. That was enough to make me happy

They're the best! It feels great when you don't have to go alone

It is very much both of those things, but luckily for me, I enjoy every aspect of what I work on!

You probably caught wind of it on twitter! I post a lot of updates on there whenever something cool happens

My art started out pretty shitty too, I just happened to spend what would become my career focusing on how to get better at it
