I would describe myself as emotional, passionate, and kind. Though I've read that a pun is the lowest form of entertainment, I confess I love them! I have 4 cats that sprawl wherever they damn please and they have me well trained. My welcome mat says, "Free Food". I've been a gamer since "Pong"; and a dedicated PC gamer since 2001. That said, I don't play people games - no time for trolls, stupid-ass intolerant people, or folks who will not or cannot consider another view. I always listen. If I make a mistake I own up to it, too. My favorite series is "Mass Effect". Replayed all of it last year for the 3rd time and was rewarded with the most powerful moment in the decades of my gaming history. It came when I met up with Grunt on another planet leading a patrol. We were outnumbered and I had to leave him. From an earlier replay I was sure that I was leaving the patrol leader to his death, so I was not surprised to find I had tears in my eyes as we parted. The rest of my people got to the surface and sure enough, there was an explosion. At 3:00 in the morning I found myself yelling his name at the top of my voice, grieving, crying so hard I couldn't see the screen. Then, out of the dust....... Grunt!! I was still crying but now laughing at the same time - I just had to stop the game and pull myself back together to continue. (And Grunt's only comment was, "Got anything to eat?") There are some great people here. I pay attention to them. I learn something every day, which is why this site is so addicting. It makes me feel welcome to contribute what I know. I love this site.
Should've known - noticed now that his face is somehow just a bit more in focus.... Great and true story, fucked up by AI. Damned shame, on today of all days...
I think it should be covered in shit. For the plants. Yeah... for the plants. (trying very hard to sound innocent)
Have a toy ready and instantly give it to her when she bites. Praise, praise. If she still bites - no more cuddle time. My rehomed cat Midnight was given to me after his original owners had him for 6 years. They taught him that a hand was a toy, and they had scratches and bites to prove it. They were expecting their first child and could not risk the very real probability of him injuring the baby. Took me several years to retrain him.
Oh, yeah, and don't forget that 10% raise he promised the troops in 2019. He just plain lied to their faces, and the troops were so happy, cheering him. I remember I was so surprised - a big fat lie from a big fat liar - and soldiers STILL VOTE for that shitstain.... For shame.
That was an understatement. There is a special place in hell for that POS.
It pisses me off that the "interviewer" pretends to sound so surprised at the interviewee's description.
#4: Owe you an apology?? You fucking Imbecile - don't you understand that PEOPLE DIED LISTENING TO YOU AND BELIEVING YOUR LIES. You can apologize to the thousands of dead and their families, then to God when it's your time.
I've been a film fan for decades and already knew the story, but this was the only instance that I wanted to read a book about this landmark movie: the techniques, every scene, psychology, and symbolism, and how director Alfred Hitchcock planned the filming of it. And then there's that incredible score, by Bernard Herrmann. (Look him up sometime - you may already know his work in SO many other films.) You may want to have someone with you the first time in case you need someone to hold on to...!
She had parents that frickin' guaranteed she'd win the gene pool. Her dad was Tony Curtis, a drop-dead beautiful man.
Me: pspspspppspspspspspspsp-- oops.
That's the difference between a drizzle instead of a pour...!
Imagine the lives he affected with this simple act of kindness. I nominate this man for sainthood.
Would like to hear what you think - please let me know!
If Trumpelthinskin found out you had 8 cents in your pocket he would want it.
The first time I heard about Spy X Spy they showed a preview where some little girl punched some little dude into the middle of next week. SOLD. Signed up for Hulu based on that alone and had not a single regret.
That's not much timber. It's more like...tim...
Or a light drizzle of balsamic vinegar..... (dang, now I'm hungry...)
This is working smarter, not harder. Well done!
Not quite - that bar is as low as you can get. But they can easily find someone equally traitorous, criminal and evil. Yeah, "smarter", but much more cunning. But as I can tell you about my ex, you can be cunning but still fucking stupid.
Thank you, Saint Gary, for your thoughtful intercession on behalf of someone who sorely needed your aid. This may be the most thoughtful customer service I've ever seen. Statue, indeed.
DA-yum....
My parents never talked down to me, which I appreciated greatly. The downside to that was the way I was spoken to in school - like a small child, and a simple one. Didn't meet a teacher until 8th grade that valued me as an individual. I will love you forever, Mrs. Paul.
Oh, please slap away, especially Gov. moRon Deathsentence for disappearing $10 million with no consequences, what so ever...
Oh, Canada!
She is such a treasure!
