BBQ fork I made. I need to use maybe 1/4 instead of 5/16 stock next time. So it’s a bit lighter. But it looks kinda neat still.

I got a new 2.5 lb rounding hammer from whiskey turtle forge and I love it. He also sent me some goodies. Some stickers a bit of wrought iron and a bar of 1045. Small Viking hammer from the wrought iron with 1045 faces is on my to do list now.

Swedish pattern 2 lb cross peen work in progress. Peen has the 1045 face forge welded on. Main face will get it next but it got late. That puck of 1045 to the left will become the face.

My Scrap knife. Wood was some walnut pallet wood. I think it’s a burl or something funky. Pins were cast brass sanded round and to 1/8” steel is 1095 from old Nicholson files, something similar from rasps, and 5160 leaf spring. How did I do?

Scrapmascus finished! It got dark so I took pictures inside so not great quality. Twist pattern. It was fun. For being a 15 year old and this being my hobby I don’t think I did too bad. Not perfect but not horrible

Inspired by Torbjörn Åhman’s recent video I made rivet tools for making and using 3/8” rivets. Far from perfect but they should work. Just need to get some bar stock to test them. Heat treated and tempered to blue/purple 1” round 4140

Corn works surprisingly well as forge fuel. I managed to forge weld with a little effort. Not a good weld but it’s possible. Smokes a lot and acts like bituminous coal.
