so the trial was stopped (mainly because the ARDSnet protocol’s utilization of low VT strategy was actually saving lives). (2/3)
Partial Liquid Ventilation (PLV) using Perflurocarbons (PFC) was studied as a treatment for ARDS. No reduction in mortality was shown (1/?)
