Well it is not that much of force used. The military can force us, but they do take motivation into account and choose from 12 % of the pop.
Jegertroppen is actually trained as norwegian special forces, that would be more equivalent to SAS or the like...
Now it is 12 % ish, of every male and female...
So for the few people that don't want to be there, too bad. A couple of decades ago every male basicly was conscripted 2/3
As they are now picking about 12% of every generation each year, they mostly pick the best fit and the motivated for military conscription.
