Had three known users ; obi wan, yoda & Luke. When obi wan died, there should have been a balance, two Jedi & two sith. However, Yoda 3/4
Few sith and hundreds of Jed,. That's an imbalance. Anakin & Padme had two children. One became a Jedi and one force sensitive. The Jedi 2/3
The prophesy was interpreted by the Jedi as one who will bring balance to the force. Anakin/ Darth Vader DID bring balance. There were 1/2
