In communication with their care team as possible. It’s very easy to get shut out and then the doctors and support staff will stop talking..
Oh shit wait I do have some useful advice. Not sure how old your son is but go to all the care meetings and try to be as active ....
And I have no great advice as an alternative I’m afraid. You just learn to deal with it
Facing their empty shell, every day. But that coffee at the 8pm support group is gonna make you feel 10 x better for sure
Nothing is gonna make it right. Nothing is ever gonna be okay. You have to learn to grieve over a lost one essentially, all the while ....

And then the psychiatrist, and then the care worker, and then my friends. Like seriously, have you been to a support group for carers? ....
