Good for you! Situational depression sufferer here, but I never ignore the shower or bath, its my one safe space where I can finally just let it all go. But honestly get it, I have a hard time self-caring beyond because I don't see the point - I'm most likely going to die before I get the transplant I need because I keep losing jobs to layoffs
Thinking the same thing.
Unfortunately, as much as I would love to be able to read actual books, I have two issues: My hands and arms are too messed up to really turn the pages, and there are no book shops or libraries with more than local records within an hours drive of me. Unforunately kindle unlimited has become my choice because I can actually manage to turn pages and still read something like 100 books a year.
How about zombie dinosaurs skeletons powered by music?
I was referring more to 'slow' corporate take over of the US and the 'shadow war' we have been waging on the entire world since WWII. But, being as we made the Iran mess to begin with years ago over oil, yeah, quite topical.
I mean, if I had a chance to meet her, she would get a slow blink and maybe a cheek rub if she wants one. I will not say who my favorite cat is, as I have three right here with me licking their claws...
I often wonder how much of the hate, racism, and bigotry is manufactured and fostered in our current environment to keep us from uniting against the real threat in our lives. While I wasn't 100% of how systemic it was until I hit adulthood, being a child of the 80's and 90's, it was clear from school that the US was built on it, but the message was always 'Your generation can be better and grow, be kind to one and another, be the part of the solution'.
Hold your head up, you learned from your mistakes and you are trying to make a better world. That is all anyone can ever ask of you.
I am American, and I upvote every single post because I fucking hate what this is doing to the world. The best I can do is protest and work on convincing my rural conservative neighbors of the actual threat and harms. Its not what I want to do, but its all I can do, and its working - I have seen Trump flags go down and democratic campaign sings go up.
In many rural communities starlink was used to transmit the results electronically to election officials. The thing is, it would of been through a vpn, so while its not impossible to break the encryption, it is unlikely it was done.
Besides obvious work is (work assigning a phone), why can't you avoid iPhones?
That's the problem - the executive branch isn't supposed to be making these decisions. They are supposed to be carrying-out what the other two branches have decided. Trump is a breakdown of the other two branches also refusing to do their jobs as they sworn to do, most democrats included.
I do a little olive oil, salt, pepper, and sometimes garlic and foil wrap. And then low and slow for a long time. One of my favorite way is when we do the fire pits have put them in cooler spots with coals and just roast them up. Takes about the same time as spit cooking a pork roast. When its done, you have a little roasted garlic clove to spread with the butter.
Man Sigi is beautiful, but is really outshone by the beauty of the diversity and of people of the crowd having one hell of a time. Its definitely wonderful you can have Sigi out at these things, she just makes people so happy all the time.
Unpopular Opinion - I rather have a properly cooked baked potato over fried potatoes of any kind. You know, the kind where the skin is crispy, and the fluff just falls out waiting for a delicious pad of butter, dallop of sour cream. My mom does a really good sour cream with bacon, garlic, onion that just makes everything pop.
DOT normally wouldn't come do this inspection anyways. They may harass drivers, but they do not tend to harass drivers parked legally on private property
Except they don't get it, when they pray using the lords prayer 'Thy lord's will be done on earth as it is in heaven', they are even praying for this... It just blows my fucking mind how so many people can be so clueless.
Honestly, not to make money so much as to make sure to keep the IP protected.
It really was, and I am glad I now work for a company that believes in work from home unless your job is to actually make sure you people don't blow stuff up.
I had it worse. I had to go to work to build wind turbine blades that are still sitting in a lot unsold... All while the stores were only open during my working hours and an inability to actually see my doctor to get the medicine I needed to keep various conditions in control, and then laid off after the pandemic

A manager at an olive garden heard we were staying in the hospital hotel for a few nights while they rebuild my grandma's ribs and preformed heart surgery. She gave use two day of to-go food so we wouldn't have to worry about spending time finding food, especially since it was a touch and go surgery for over 24 hours

And urged law makers. As much as we hate it, he made the right call according to the laws, that creating drawings is freedom of speech when no child is abused in the creation or the drawings shared.

And consider the near doubling of more of prices of certain computer components and IT equipment because of it, congress is barking at wrong thing when it comes to corruption. Its not like they are going to understand the explanation anyways, many of them are old enough to think the internet is magic...
Meanwhile Donut has been getting more integrated with the clowder. Void even showed her how to hunt some last night when they were going after a moth together. Its getting more peaceful.
