Buddy, my bestie's dog, followed her everywhere in the house, laid by her bed when she entered hospice, and he died the day after her.
Granted, I'm not great either, but I don't bring my grief up when I'm around them. 2/2
Yeah I can't imagine what losing a child is like. My best friend died of cancer about a month ago, and her parents aren't doing too well 1/2
I think to try to maintain a connection with their dead loved one. Similar in concept to keeping photos, wearing someone's wedding ring, etc
That is a story that should be preserved. I hope he was able to have it recorded by a reputable society somehow.

I'm living that life. The trick is to freeze a couple of the meals so that you can mix it up a little throughout the week.
