Yea, it wouldn't. According to another comment I read yesterday, Google simply uses the national geographic database for whatever country the user is in. So, in the US they would use the GNIS (Geographic Names Information System), which is a federal entity and therefore, unfortunately, under the jurisdiction of the Executive branch and Orange Fuck's whims. So basically (probably, I don't know) it only shows the change in the US. That's not to say Google can't go suck a massive chode, but still.
