This is just a pic dump place to share things in Reddit usually.

I’m using Imgur for Reddit, and nothing else.
It’s been getting close to 100 here in San Antonio it finally got cool again.
The hard part was building a custom wiring harness for the screen/Arduino microcontroller. The rest was plug-and-play.
You can buy these surplus industrial displays on ebay, I just had to modify some code examples for Aurduino to customize the message.
I set the camera on the table and used my chin I think. Then I had to edit it to correct for rotation.
I don’t think pines would live here. At least I have not seen them growing. We did plant several trees though.
Efficient? That’s a tossup, not sure I ran it for hours on a motorcycle battery, and the temp drop was 40F. It is durable though.
It’s so humid here that I wanted to build a device to make it rain!
That’s why I built it. It’s always so fucking hot that it rarely rains in San Antonio. We never hit the dew point.
