And just that dead look in Sam's eyes. The entire time, just "This was my own fault. I let this happen. I MADE this happen."

I wonder if he believes that second one there. Like, I know that the political lie farms in Macedonia look at it as 'The people of the US are stupid, we're just fleecing idiots' - I wonder if Trump thinks, "Well, if they believe anything I tell them, that's their fault." Or if he actually believes the things he says (when he says them).

I used to _run_ to the TV to catch episodes of this, even as a teenager when I was supposed to be 'too old' for it. Loved this, and all the other Thundercats knock-offs!

I recently bought my first new (used) car. Everything before this was inherited from someone else. I was so psyched to get some really cool color... Until I was told the palette available was just various shades of monochrome.
I swear, if I ever get some real throw-away money I'm gonna get my kia painted something outlandishly bright!

Weird is a treasure. Don't ever lose it, nor sacrifice it if it still serves you. Be the tree you want to see in the world.

Heh. Okay. my bad. Didn't know it was a well-known fact!

Fun story on this one. She did, in fact, make the shot, after practicing it non-stop. The problem was, because it went out-of-frame, people could easily say it was faked. Weaver was rather disappointed about that.

Is that where they have the Nathan Fillion Civilian Pavilion?

When it came out, I hated it, but it was because I was both a Shakespeare snob and a pretentious, iconoclastic film student. Years later, I recognize it for what a fantastic masterpiece it was. (Also, the 'take' of it in Hot Fuzz is absolutely wonderful!)

#17 Years ago, I went to an afghani restaurant with a friend vet who'd served in Afghanistan. We took a few bites, and my friend asked to talk to the chef. Chef came out, and friend asked him "Are you from" (X area). Turned out chef was from like five miles from there. My friend identified it from the food taste, and the two spent like 20 minutes just talking about regional cuisine. They both were so happy!

I was apparently like this as a kid. Makes me smile!

My cat loves being at the vet, cos it's more people to pay attention to him! (Seriously, other than some blood work, he LOVES it when the doc is with him.)

Three years ago I moved into the first apartment I've lived in that has a view of trees. Watching the wind blow through the branches, and the way the colors change... Just magical!

Not gonna lie. Some of these pictures made my shoulders and back relax in ways I've not felt in months. Thank you so, so much for sharing this. Made my day so much better.

Dunno why you're getting downvoted. Not all things are for all people.

Back in the 90's I went to a theater that still had this in the print. Watched it almost every weekend. Thing was, I didn't know other places -didn't- have it. Years later, saw it in another state, and I was like.. "Wait, your print is missing a song..."

And should the Democrats gain the presidency, the Republicans will call whatever repair efforts there are an "Apology tour" and claim the president is weak and kissing up to foreign rulers (non-dictatorial ones, natch), and that'll be part of their rallying cry for the entire term(s).

Amen to that. I tried my best to be 'not weird' when I first started living on my own. Was not only the hardest three years of my life, but so counterproductive! Once I let my freak flag fly, I got all sorts of amazing friends who were like me!

Yeah, I was afraid of that. Thanks, though.

#5 Okay, so... I know I'm focusing on the 'wrong' thing (I'm Ace, thanks), but I really wanna know what that song is! Looking up lyrics has been no help at all. Anyone know?

Man. I don't just miss this show. I miss living in a time where I didn't have bills, chronic pain and illness, and fear for the nation and the world. I miss sitting on my brother's bed and watching this show, me and both of my siblings almost pissing ourselves laughing about it. I miss the inspiration I had to learn sleight-of-hand due to Judge Harry. I just... Sorry. I'm having a bit of a crisis over things going away.

Yep. One of them says he 'identifies as a woman, only for basketball'. Like, 'har har ain't i funny?' - He's also said he'll sue if he's not taken seriously or some shit.

And employs slavers to kidnap kids and enslave them in the west coast of Africa. And when called on this, the CEO claimed that it was 'the cost of doing business' and refused to change any of it. And then Nestle did their best to make sure the trials for these things wouldn't happen in America, because they could basically ignore any court instructions in Africa.

Back during the Bush administration, the US put into action a statement that, should any US citizens be taken to the Hague for tribunal, the US would send troops to bring them right back.
This is how little power the ICJ has when dealing with us.

Or have a game in which her completely abusive husband runs it and she still goes to bat for him. (Happened to me twice. One of the two got smart enough to leave his violent ass. Dunno about the other - I wasn't allowed to talk to her after a few games.)

#6 I know we've all had the experience, but having grown up in the pre-internet age, it always amazes me.
A few years back I had trouble with the ignition in my car, and it was getting real frustrating for me. Looked it up, found a dude who had the exact same car and the exact same problem who'd put together a 5-minute video on how to fix it with tools-at-hand. It was amazing. No need to take it to the mechanic. Just find some dude who wanted to help others. Problem solved.

What you need to do is take the profit of the first bank robbery and then buy... er... lobby politicians to make laws that make the robberies totally not your fault so you can do them all you like.
