FL teacher here. Last school I worked at lost 35 teachers during the year after I began working at another school. I jumped early.
Which helps cover what I should need. But it's a shame that the bank is there by the same methods. Other employees donating their days.
Literally out on surgery recovery right now and had to deal with the same worries. Luckily my director kept a sick bank of days donated.
I really enjoyed that book and have read it a couple times this past year. It's such a cozy little story to read over a rainy weekend.

I am also a 31 year old who likes dinosaurs. Just saying.
My son and I want to start doing this too now that he's old enough. So far all we have is he gingerbread house they came out with last year

Middle school teacher here too. Same kind of situation. Been in it 2 weeks. Just be as flexible as you can. Be safe.
DND beyond is another good site to help get started and it had a forum to find games to join.
His other work with eyeshield 21 is quite good too
Unfortunately the teachers like me are still being forced into the building regardless for those kids that aren't opting out.
