It's the olympics, basically 95% of the athletes there are on PEDs.

Look up Guiltykilla on instagram. He got loads of dumb-strong stuff.

Come from the same town as they do. Saw some of their first ever gigs and apperently met them out of character (without me knowing).

Low blocks helps you focusing on the second pull. Also helps strengthen lumbar area compared to high blocks which focus more on upper back.

That's what Olympic weightlifting does to you folks.

Source: Our lifting club cooperates with Eleiko and tests all their products.

Yes, but they don't use olympic barbells for deadlift championships. Eleiko WL bar should start bend at around 200ish if loaded correctly.

Only if you are using a horrible bar. Eleiko bar bend at around 400kg. WPC/Texas DL bar at around 300, but way more.

Not chalk, baby power. Chalk would cause friction and make it harder.

It was 8kg above his best C&J ever aswell which makes it even crazier. Chigishevs reaction to losing the gold was so awesome aswell.

It's great if you suffer from a back injury since it's alot less taxing on the back, but takes more out of the rectus abdominis & obliques.

Powerjerk/Pushjerk/Squatjerk are also variants that you see in every big championship.

Yeah it's fun to see it's not only like Lu who does it anymore.

It would be a good lift in a competition so why would your gym not approve it?

Misha! I will always be mad at RWF for never letting him compete internationally despite winning russian cup several times.

Caption sounds like OP's mom

This depends alot on if are you doing lowbar or highbar aswell. Lowbar engages more hams/glutes whilst highbar is pretty much only quads.
