From an educated music standpoint, no, it doesn't. It has a single main theme song. And dozens of iconic motifs.
I mean it's Duel of the Fates, not just a normal theme. But hell yeah its impressive on a device that only has 4 audio channels, 2 of which are aquare wave, and one dedicated to sound effects, not music.

Hard shell swap is for looks. My psp now matches my Ocean Blue PS2. Soft modding allows for playing full game discs from .iso files off a memory card

Most devices won't force it to charge, because a bad battery forced to charge will explode in a fireball like those Samsung phones did for a while. If the battery has been sitting. I'd replace it. Pretty sure they are Lithium. So they won't leak acid. If it exploded, it would be a huge Lithium fire, and burn down the house. Not common unless it gets physically damaged enough to puncture layers of Lithium together. Lithium Batteries are super stable when stationary. And most reputable companies will have protection circuits that will refuse to charge it if it drops below a certain Voltage, because that's an indicator of a bad battery. (Lithium batteries operate from ~3.5-4 volts...
