Reference is to the protagonist of Yu-Gi-Oh, where characters play a monster battler trading card game. There is a huge amount of drama surrounding "heart of the cards" and stylistic ways people would hold their trading cards before playing them. The bank card here represents the customer is highly satisfied with their new look and is pretending to play their credit card between two fingers as if they were part of the game. Us as the audience feels the nostalgia the customer must be feeling.
Update: I thought it was just the singer, but they are all still together. Bad assumption on my part after their social media stuff in 2020

As someone who listened to the whole thing, I want to support your comment. The survivors are building an informal list from their personal experiences and MTG threatened to read it herself on their behalf. Also, pedantically: their list won't be complete due to being limited by firsthand experience of a limited group willing to speak up. However, I anticipate the factors that prevent them from safely and productively testifying will prevent them from publicly correcting her.

Engineer here, I can engineer words. Engineers will sometimes come up with truly innovative ideas, but with no concept of what the problem is. This means it’s just a cool idea, but not a solution to anything a user or customer asked for. They "fix" things that are not broken. This is in contrast to the original theme of evaluating a problem and engineering solutions.

'The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell' , 'Our current cultural institutions do not support the equitable existence of trans people'. Both of these are instances of knowledge being shared repeatedly, but I don't see anyone trying to ban learning about cellular biology. One stranger to another: I think you have a bias/predisposition that you're aware of but underestimating.

#1 white pencil on black construction is great. Drawing light onto objects feels more intuitive than drawing shade/shadows onto objects, in my opinion. I encourage people to try it!
The thing I hate about that argument of theirs, is that it's not MAD if you avoid the shout-out take the other person off guard. It incentives the shoot-first mentally. Accountability would still only be fulfilled by witnesses and law enforcement. Doesn't even work on paper.
