I did some construction workin an office in Perth CBD. Some mining firm. Doing some snagging. Was absolutely roasting, high 30s maybe 40s. So I was wearing a sleeveless hi-vis tshirt and all necessary safety gear. End of the day the supervisor shows up for the low down and says he wants a word. Tells me a gentleman in the office found my attire inappropriate and that it was upsetting others. Had to come in a long sleeve, collared shirt the following day to appease the situation. This might sound like white knightery but I don't give a shit. I like to believe that because of my low contribution to society so far, I think I would take one for the team to rebalance the scales of justice. But all very easy to say behind a keyboard and not being put in the actual position. Who knows I could be a coward about it. But to honest I shouldn't have to consider it and be able put my faith in due process for this kind of scum.

When I read these things I'm thankful of the privilege I've had in my life. It took me while to realise I had it cause I often took it for granted. But as a small business owner now, who has the struggles as I'm sure all do. I have no real debt except to my parents. The understanding when you succeed we will too and you can reimburse us when possible or using your skills to benefit us. It's a relatively small amount compared to what others get into. But I'm now painfully aware that others don't.
