I don't disagree, but my concern would be the negative effects of drugs, both mentally and physically. I question making it widely available

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

the use of the drugs yes, the distribution no. That way there is less of a treatment barrier for addiction while still preventing the sale.

I'm willing to reevaluate my beliefs everyday based on what new facts I learn. I'd take that any day over being unable to bend to the 4

no proof to either side of the argument, And as long as I do not let my faith take priority over fact, there is no issue with my science. 3

Scientists to have open minds, as that's how science progresses. I am not excluding the possibility of a God just because I have 2

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I do understand, science is about taking unproven ideas and and providing evidence based facts to prove them. But it's our duty as 1

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Faith requires belief without evidence in God, not anything else. When I have evidence about something, that takes priority.

How does me having a faith make my ability to understand and practice science any less then yours?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

so as a scientist and a christian, does that mean i don't exist?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

that's because most people don't feel the need to state that they are part of the majority.

You wouldn't be conscious, but you would still have brain activity. The brain is basically using up the oxygen it has. when its out, you die

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

still there. Depending on the phase of sleep you are in, there can be a lot of activity still.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oops, my bad :) but yeah, the only time that the brain isn't active is when it is dead. The activity is reduced when you sleep, but it is 1
