My spouse's dog is a Samoyed/Husky mix. He will be Loud and Friendly.

I have a former barn cat who used to go outside JUST to do her business and then wanted RIGHT back in. Never hunted a day in her life with me. She's old now so doesn't even go outside at all. She spends most of her day curled up on the couch.
It seems to me the cats that once had to actually fight to survive adjust very well to no longer having to do that. All the ex-ferals I've known have happily traded outdoor life for a name and a scratch under their collar.

My dad is 56. He has permanent deadened sensation in his hands, faint "tiger stripes" on his knuckles, and no hair on his hands because of a gas explosion when he was a kid. He was in a bunker-style basement with his mom trying to fix a natural gas leak and it was dark. He was innocent, they needed a light, so he struck a match.
Both survived and are alive today (he actually made it out first, then went back in to save his mom), and I grew up with fire safety being a very serious topic.
Took my son the his first amusement park. Tall enough for all the rides (except 1). First ride he went on I'm thinking "he's awful small for that seat...I don't think the harness is really going to keep him in..." Naturally the coaster is one that goes upside down. I can just see him slipping out and falling to his demise.
He rode that coaster 4 times in a row...5 total. My stomach never stopped twisting the entire time he was on it.

My dad had a little S10 he kept until it's clutch failed and needed to be rebuilt. Little blue truck he taught his kids how to drive stick in, saved the life of one of his soldiers when he found out the hard way he was allergic to bee stings and had to be rushed to medical, brought us kids home after a rollover accident we all walked away from. Sometimes those "POS" trucks mean a lot to the people who drive them. As long as it runs and is road legal, who tf cares?

Fun fact: in the vast majority of cases shoes are actually detrimental to the horse. They definitely need to be acclimated to tolerating it. Some seem to enjoy it, especially when their feet are sore or unbalanced. Others ABOSLUTELY will pull their feet away, paw, kick, and otherwise resist and fight. Unless a horse has been trained to behave for the farrier, they will not.
I was 3 months old when my grandmother passed. I'm 33 now and I know she loved the color purple, specifically pastel. She loved flowers and butterflies. She would have loved the person I am today. She would have loved the horses. I know because my mom kept her alive while I was growing up. My grandfather keeps her alive. Even his second wife, the grandmother I grew up with and a woman who never met her, keeps her alive: there are photos of her on the walls of their house. <3

Every time I see one of these I'm reminded of a roommate we had once who stored his guns loaded in soft cases and would sleep with one on his bed. I was trying to catch a dog we had at the time and she ran into roommate's room. I was the only one home and was confronted with a gun pointed at me laying on the bed, which is how we found out the idiot slept with it "for protection".

I'm not sure what search terms you're using but it is extremely easy to find several mental health centers that use the terms. Furthermore, as someone who suffers from intrusive thoughts as related to my anxiety disorder, my psych team has used the terms and explained the differences to me. The article I linked also not only described the terms but gives examples of the difference for laymen.

Not false per se. Warnings are issued when radar indicates a tornado (or less often when one's been confirmed on the ground, radar usually catches it first). Due to the unpredictability of storms the warnings are issues over broad areas. It's a "better safe than sorry" situation because tornados and severe storms can be deadly. It's better to tell everyone to take shelter and have it be nothing, than to wait. There was a deadly EF3 in Union City in MI recently. It dropped so fast ->
Bird looks like a killdeer. They usually live in fields and eat bugs like grasshoppers and crickets. Since grassy fields don't usually provide much in the way of nesting materials they lay eggs in "scrape nest".
