The original difficulty of the world is/was dark souls. Men used to be required to get between women and danger and to do hard work to protect their families or they would die. Nowadays being a emotional safe space and emotional intelligence are more prized by women. Times have changed. Women have more college degrees and own more homes than men. I fear you've veered off the point. "nobody gives a fuck about how you were raised. unlearn xy or z". That is a demand that other people better themselves for your benefit. No tolerance for the intolerant is a separate matter. Tolerance is a social contract. If you don't abide by it, you're not covered by it. If someone's worldview is X people must be *removed* for merely existing that's intolerance. and can't be tolerated. 1/2
Other people don't owe you approval, kindness and understanding. Just basic politeness. Abandoning your own basic politeness at your peril. People don't owe you the best version of themselves to you. The best version of themselves is different to them and to you. Why do other people need to sand down their rough edges for strangers? They should do it for themselves. How about give people the space and the kindness deeded to "Unlearn etc etc ect". Demanding change from others doesn't work. It has to come from within. This a problem with modern society. If you want to be seen as noble you need to meet hate with love. Meeting haters with demands only increase the resistance and caught up in you self righteous ego you *feel* justified to demand change. It's not even that deep down; they want freeish labor from AI and bots. So they can *win* capitalism forever and ever. Who ever controls the AI and the bots controls the world and you know they will be some stupid motherfuckers very quickly.
The companies research the stuff on your taxes and then privately profit from them because the government sells them the rights for peanuts. If tax money is use the primary funding source for research ; it is because it's risky with no proof of success so the government stepped in to make sure our research didn't lag. But the fruits of that research should be made affordable to at least the country that made it.
Because all the buying power the working people lose goes to the wealthy and they just use it to buy up ever asset that exists as another way to passively earn more money by leveraging assets. 2/2
Just straight racism is their big thing. Quiet pervasive & polite racism. But it's there & their work culture makes it dang near impossible for young people to have kids because of massive work hrs & near mandatory afterwork *work*. The pay is just not enough. Modern civilization has got come to an understanding that a wage's number isn't the real wage. True, but a lot of Japan's stats are just concealing other issues though. The murder rate is low because the suicide rate is high and some of those suicides were just murder by bullying and unsolved deaths are counted as "murder". Also their homelessness is lower because you have a lot of people with jobs staying in manga cafes or video game rooms or other cheap overnight options. They can't afford a month's rent but they can afford these other places and thusly aren't considered "homeless".

Newer homes suck in reality because they are overpriced and made shoddily and every corner you can imagine has been cut. Older home just had practical home layouts and people still did *starter* homes meaning they always intended to move in a large home later.
My Grandpa lived thru the great depression, joined the Navy did 24 years and came out owning multiple homes. he then worked another 20 years in real estate before his health forced him to retire. When he passed away he owned 21 properties and never finished high school. Stories like that used to be fairly common. Not everyone is a equally capable, but it was possible. It's no longer possible. Old homes suck? 47% of the homes in the U.S. were built *before* 1980. 1/2
