For some reason, it's always about how to be valid to OTHER people. smh.
But before all else, children need to learn self respect. No one ever thinks about how important it is to nurture the child's sense of self.

the difference was very clear. You can find purebreeds at the shelter too though if you look for them and be patient. All doggies need homes
Those ones usually ended up with allergies or genetic diseases, needed vets all the time, and had personality issues. Loved them all, but--
I've always loved shelter dogs, they're often already trained, healthier, and good natured overall. Had a couple of purchased pets too.
