The guy who made "Star Trek" Picard literally said in an interview that the only thing he got from Star Trek was "who is that green chick Kirk is sleeping with". He took a show with strong themes of the idealistic future of humanity and turned it into a show that destroyed literally decades of established lore.
I mean it isn't even that. The US LITERALLY can't rule on Brazilian law any more than Brazil can rule on US law. You can't sue one country in a different country. This isn't even a venue shopping question if a judge actually tried to say it could hear a case about Brazilian law it would be an international incident.

I am not a lawyer; however, there seems to be an obvious issue with that idea. The problem here is the property was seized according to Brazilian law. Any attempt to have Brazilian govt. assets in on U.S. soil seized due to a lawful seizure under Brazilian law would be an affront to the sovereignty of Brazil. That is to say that U.S. Federal Courts and U.S. State/County Courts are not a lawful venue for matters of Brazilian law and thus the case would have to be dismissed for a lack of venue.
They probably did that in preparation for this to give the new water time to acclimate and prevent putting any fish into shock from low water level, cold water, or something else.

All the ones shown to be breeding were herbavores which didn't need to be fed. And if you factor in the Lysine contingency we already know they got their lysine from another source so they wouldn't have noticed any issues due related to needing to feed more.

EXACTLY! I always hate that people forget this. Watch the scene in the movie again and they say "Contact Nedry's team" and int he book it specifies he has a whole company. Everyone focuses on him being the only one at the park and skips over them saying explicitly that he HAD a team.
I mean to be fair it was the 80s/90s... how the heck were there computer systems going to count the number of dinosaurs in the park without someone going out and counting? Computer systems were not that advanced.
It was the right address for the warrant though which is important. It means that they had to justify why they thought that address was the right one which is evidence. Describing it as a "wrong address" implies and accident or simple negligence that could cause qualified immunity to come into play. I make sure to say the full story because that is the only way to hold them accountable and hopefully get past qualified immunity.
Actually OP it wasn't wrong address. It was right address but they'd ignored the 5 prior warnings that the person they were looking for wasn't living there anymore. So the police showed up to the address they got a warrant for they just... didn't bother doing any actual investigation and decided "yep that is the place".
