#39 Well, I do this, so it probably isn't an entirely useless question...?

The "Everyone is 12" model doesn't just apply in the US, it seems.

#12 Am I missing something here? Because "Simple Human" is just a brand...

I'm pretty sure you have to have the intention of looking like a PoC to count as blackface. This is just black makeup. He doesn't pretend to be black.

The vitriol from the right was expected. But she also pissed off the, broadly speaking, moderate left, because she pointed out concrete, actionable ideas, instead of just hoping we can thoughts-and-prayers our way through climate change (and later other global problems).

And yet, he will never be able to buy the love of his daughter. He's a deeply damaged man who cannot cope with not getting his way and thinks there is some level of wealth where reality will bend to his will. I hope his bitterness will consume him until the day he dies.

No, history will see that a majority of Americans enabled and condoned this behavior, because it resonated with them. It was important to not allow Hitler to be mystified as a force of nature that happened to hapless Germans, you Americans will have to bear the same kind of responsibility. Trump is just the avatar of the national culture you either allowed to fester or even actively helped grow.

Remember, voting for *Democrat* billionaires instead of *Republican* billionaires will fix everything, though!

Convincing you that you can have *either* a luxurious future *or* an equal society on a healthy planet was one of the biggest oligarch propaganda wins. They made you think that mobility, comfort, entertainment, travel, progress are only possibly under exploitative capitalism.

I need people to understand that his followers think that the top one represents strength and manliness. You can't "gotcha" them this way.

#7 Left looks like she would make me take Instagram pics of her in front of famous landmarks. Rights looks like we could play Minecraft together on a rainy Sunday afternoon.

This isn't a surprise to anyone. You *can't* build a phone in the US, even if you tried. There just isn't the infrastructure or expertise for it.

I wear my Pride Knights pins on my hat and my backpack. I don't think LGBTQ people in my country need the same kind of reassurance, luckily, but I still hope it encourages them a bit. It's also a token of hope for myself, that I will able to do the right thing if it ever becomes necessary.

okay, yea, came here to clear that up. The caption kinda implies it's a water *molecule* forming.

Nah, this is a real photo of the "FOUCE" securing this accident site, where a 30 ton truck veered off a dirt foot path and spilled its load of random-ass, unpackaged sex toys out of its undamaged, 4 meter long trailer.

#48 I have held many stone tools, and I can confirm that is how it feels like, especially with really old ones. You hold something made two million years ago, but you just...understand.

He used some fish meat as fish bait and caught a fish that likes to eat other fish. Who'd have thunked.

If most of Americans really wanted this, most Americans would be out on the streets, protesting 24/7, letting the economy grind to a halt. Y'all "want" this the same way I want homemade lasagna for dinner today, I won't say no to it, but I won't bother making it myself.

If you hear a woman being brutally murdered in the woods, it's likely just a horny fox. FYI.

Well, the problem is that the side who likes him the most is also the one who owns most of the guns and has the most penchant for violence.

Okay, but...no? First of all, "megafauna" is ice age fauna is open steppe fauna. A fucking mammoth doesn't *fit* between massive trees! Also, yes, the ocean is a huge and important ecosystem, but a lot of it is "abyssal plains", basically thousands of sqkm of grey flatness. It's not some mysterious "dark forest" we have no idea about, we know what most of it looks like because most of it looks the same.

#4 Maybe don't drive, then? Next time it might be a small child instead of a pot hole...

Yea, but us Europeans had no hand in it, yet we still have to deal with the bullshit.

The "librarian" working in your town's public library is doing a very different job than the "librarian" working at a university's central library. The former are volunteers, at least where I live. The latter definitely are academic professionals.
