We can design a special rope. With steel or titanium if needed.

I am extremely sympathetic to those who voted against him. I have very limited sympathies for those who didn't vote at all (the US voting system being optional is just weird to me). Those who voted for him are reaping what they have sown and I will not help them or feel sorry for them in any way.

Nope. Nuh-uh. That's the riskiest click I've avoided today.

Yes but women and men also often have different body shapes. Sometimes, mens clothes don't hang well on a woman's figure (of course, sometimes they're great). But why can't we just make clothes that suit people with the features they want?

The map is clear, it doesn't exist.

Not a player, but long term fan. Typically, the women don't manage to hit as far for one - so they'll score fewer boundaries and sixes than the men.

Nah it wasn't that bad a case.

It is the right of every person to be wrong about things, so I'll not castigate you too much. But ... you're wrong :)

You can play it completely free yes. You'll get the occasional nag but it's not overbearing (IMO)

A quibble - respect everyone until and unless they demonstrate they are not worthy of it

He looks younger than he sounds. Surprised he's married at that age, frankly.

Previously, you could go get a (say) $1M mortgage, let's say the interest is $5K a month. You rent it for $3K a month. The $2K a month difference reduces your other income tax - so you could effectively receive about $45K tax free (20K normally tax free and the other 24K is a reduction in taxable income).

No no, it's fair. They deserve the additional weapons given the unjustified attacks.

I am unreasonably upset that the two white circles aren't centered in their teardrop frames.

Feels like it started with COVID then they realised they could save $200 a year by not having printed menus and making people use phones instead.

Sure, but if they ask for 40%, the pollies would have to at least pretend to say no. Instead, they ask for 4% per annum forever - taking most of the cream from growth and letting the investment drop in value due to inflation.

Aka ... don't kill the goose with the golden eggs.

That's a long list, and I'm not even sure any more that it's finite.

Very true, and I'm glad I'm one of the lucky - for me the reduction in hunger hasn't really changed the amount I eat - but I'm still down 50lb in 18 months or so. The "no longer feeling hungry" part has meant my body is no longer storing everything it can.

For comparison, my Dad was in hospital on a low calorie, low volume hospital diet when he had MRSA and lost a toe; despite not even eating 1/3 of his meals (no appetite), he was still putting weight on. Some of us need that assist.

Oh. Oh yeah. Yeah that's probably better than what I had.

Ah I see you too have an Alien infestation in your blankets. Bluey will only attack the feet under the blanket, not directly.

We also do treats at bedtime. They have decided bedtime is 11pm and enforce it loudly.

I mean, it's not like the YouTube team can be trusted anyway. For me the most recent thing has been the YouTube app spamming notifications at me for Coachella. All the notification options in the YouTube app are disabled, so they're ignoring their own settings there too. I have no idea why they thought "this person who's not watched music on YouTube, and who has notifications all disabled, definitely wants to get notifications for a music festival" but hey, logic left a long time ago.

Hard to be certain of where/how it's being seen. The Samsung article is here https://samsungmagazine.eu/2026/04/08/90-sekund-bez-moznosti-preskoceni-youtube-na-televizich-porusuje-i-vlastni-pravidla/ and the translation to English isn't fantastic. The "searchengineland" article (https://searchengineland.com/youtube-tests-90-second-unskippable-ads-on-tvs-474028) does seem to have a photo, though it's so cropped it's not entirely "proof".
