I shouldn't have to join a reward program to get the sale price of an item. I shouldn't have to "check in" to "earn points" toward "rewards" that amount to a pittance in exchange for brand loyalty. I normally dislike the pumpkin spice thing but pumpkin cold foam over top of a cold brew coffee is delightful! I also like the vanilla Oreos with the pumpkin spice filling.

There are very few military members who join the service specifically to kill others. There are always a few of those but most of them undergo psych evals and get weeded out. Every person I know who joined the military for three reasons: to travel and see more of the world, to get US citizenship for themselves and/or their families, or to qualify for the GI bill so they can more easily afford higher education. You are making generalizations that simply are not true.
I keep saying this. For all of the crying on the right about how America isn't having enough babies, they sure seem to prefer to make it a LOT harder for families to plan for and birth healthy and happy babies.

She was 17 at the time. He picked her up from school, took her to a Knicks game (court side, iirc) , and dropped her off in front of her parents house that evening. Apparently that girl (now a grown woman) works in fashion these days.
