Utah is known to have every season year round pretty much. Summers are dry and hot, but not like AZ Winters -1-2feet snow is driving weather

Climate zone 5 and our systems do extremely well. Not many places ground source heat pumps don’t work. Ground is constant 53 degrees ish 1/2

We do sometimes tie solar thermal into the systems for hot water generation or to boost the system in colder climates.
Geothermal. Using the ground to transfer energy via a refrigerant cycle to and from the ground to heat and cool your home.
Geothermal is one of the most overlooked options IMO. I design low temp geo for heating and cooling homes.
@OP what about high temp geothermal?
