A union isn't just a subscription to better work, the whole point is that collectively, you can do things. The nurses need to put effort into it. It's unjust, they should just get a healthy work environment with proper pay, but sadly that doesn't come out of nowhere

I don't have sympathy for them. I do have sympathy for their future victims, which you're guaranteed to create if you give someone no other recourse than crime. The way this law would work out, you're basically taking away any decent chance at building up a life after their conviction ends,but you haven't actually killed them and they're not just going to sit around and wait to die from hunger.
