I studied how that specific period marked the population and was treated in the medias (through movies mainly) that's how I got interested1/
When I was in university, my teacher made us watch it. Many tears were shed. But this period of Japanese history fascinates me so...yeah.
Interesting perspective, I had never seen it like that before, it does make a lot of sense though. Must re-watch. And cry.

The biggest problem men have is that they're their own enemy they get shamed for showing their feelings, for admitting weaknesses 1/2
