I JUST rewatched this episode today. XD
First of all, that's not at all what straw-manning is. Second of all, I was trying to give credence to your take and the other persons. You're misinterpreting what I said entirely- I was giving a possible alternative interpretation of the use of quotations, not stating outright that they don't know how to write. Thirdly, straw-manning is inventing someone else's position to argue against, which I didn't do. Lastly, you're not the fucking arbiter of what is and isn't wrong. Fuck off.
I mean, maybe? But Boomers put quotes around sentence subjects and nouns a lot, it's an old way of writing. And PragerU is nothing but a bunch of incompetent boomer chuds.

I think the greater context was that he was between jobs, might have recently dropped out of college, and he didn't know what to do with his life at that point. He views it as a kind of low.

He's been pretty blatantly transphobic on youtube, tbh. Really easy to find. It's the brand of transphobia that dances around the issue; he doesn't quite say the quiet part out loud (yet). Same song and dance as JK Rowling.
I'm so hyped for a new Perfect Dark, and I love Joanna's new look; it's closer to the original CG renders of the first game. Way better than the plastic Barbie they turned her into for Zero.

I see more religious people clinging to doom as a 'christian' game (coping) because you're killing demons. Ignoring that the Slayer also kills the angel regent (Khan Makyr) and then, in the DLC, removes Lucifer-God's power (Vega), almost kills, but spares Satan (Hayden/Samur) at Lucifer-God's request, and then kills the real God-God Tyrant (Davoth). Doom is about overthrowing hierarchies of suffering, and can easily be read as anti-religious, just like His Dark Materials.
Any time GMan tries to argue with people like AronRa or Dilahunty is hilarious. I hadn't seen this one, thanks lmfao
I'm assuming the people manning these lines are better trained to deal specifically with trans issues. The easiest thing I can think of is asking pronouns before the call moves forward. Nothing makes feeling suicidal worse than constantly being misgendered by someone who's meant to help you out of suicidal feelings.
