It’s overrated to an extent.
The swelling is getting better which is good. But some days it swells horribly for no obvious reason. I was on heavy pain meds for a month.
It was horrible tbh. I couldn’t walk for a total of four months. I’m still in physical therapy and it still hurts every single day...
Wouldn’t it still be considered “open minded” because the bullet made a hole which is an “open” wound?
I was told by a firefighter that if the SUV had hit us three feet to the right, my husband would have been dead. Idk about me though.
I know it’ll never go away but I can’t help but hope, sometimes, that it will.

I do believe it was like carpet burn to the max. My surgeon said he’s never seen anything like it.
