I work for a USAF combat search and rescue unit. I am in my early thirties. I am a licensed skydiviver and jump as often as possible. I snowboard as often as work allows. I have two awesome dogs. One Black Lab and one Whippet. Feel free to message me any other questions. :)

Pulling on rear suspension lines eventually forced the nose back to correct position and sorted the opening out. Safe for rest of the flight

The deployment bag around the canopy was too tight. Forced the tail over the nose on opening.

I packed it. But, the deployment bag is a little too small for the wing. I knew I was risking it opening incorrectly. No reserve used

Anyone know the location in this picture?

It only took 30+ years for consoles to catch up to the point where this joke was possible.

For sake of the people in/handling the accident you should (if possible) merge w/the opposite lane and slow for safety.

There was a campground in Indiana called Twin Mills (most likely still there...) that absolutely honoured it when I was a kid in the 90s.

I'm aware, i forgot to clarify in this particular response that since we don't know the date pictured they could be considered.

Though, admittedly, they do appear to be the Marine variant.

Our refueling 130s most certainly do use drogues (trailing basket things) and both the USAF and the USMC have 53s (the helicopter pictured)

Depending on when the picture was taken, could also be MH-53 pavelows employed by the USAF AFSOC and Rescue units.

I'm an altitude junky so I rarely hop n pop and I'm a notoriously dirty low puller. No pitch till the AAD hums! #jumphighpulllow

Most of us skydivers don't close our helmets till we are ready to jump during summer time. Spotting is tough with a foggy visor.

My bumper stickers just say that I jump out of good airplanes for fun. No one hates on that... These people need to re read the section 1/2

I love to see dogs being rescued but, I also always hurt inside, just a little, wondering about the pain that they made it through. <3 dogs

I don't believe that is the traditionally accepted meta.

That almost bothered me as much as you "RTBing" to base... (returning to base to base)

As a dude married ten years, I'm the cause of our sex life slow down. We are working on it and doing well because she was up front about it.
