It's a real dollar coin, just like the Sacagawea dollar that was first minted in 2000. In fact, it should work in vending machines and parking meters that take the $1 dollar coin.
The gold color is from the manganese-brass cladding around a solid copper core, interestingly that cladding is half the thickness as the Sacagawea dollar based on the coin size and the assay values of manganese, zinc, nickel and copper.

If you increase the number of Reps my state has from 2 to 35 (one per 30k), you go from 100% Democratic representation to something like 70% Democratic and 30% Republican. You'll find that sort of result across all 50 states. Increasing the number of Reps is not going to fix anything.
You'll never get anything passed through Congress if the critters don't agree on anything. You'll wind up in procedural deadlock because no one can muster enough votes to pass anything. And you'll have an even worse time than you do now.

The biggest holders of wealth don't do it through income, so an income tax change wouldn't do much to pull that money away from them because it's not income where their wealth is, it's capital gains. And the capital gains tax rate is even lower than the income tax rate.
