There's also been some great talks to come out of it. But agree. That's what happens when you give licence away to anyone who ask for one.
Most people who do TED talks are required to condense decades of work into less than 20 minutes, so of course context will be lost.
I'm reading his book right now, "Far From the Tree" and it's AWESOME. A behemoth but awesome.

It bugged me how he wasn't the least bit horrified he was accused of rape. His "Fav this tweet if you'd sleep with me" tweet still angers me
