I don't know why we are arguing.i agree. My point is there is not really such a thing as cruelty free food for vegans unless they grow it themselves. Anything mass produced will destroy ecosystems and kill vermin in the process. Not to mention human suffering to create those goods
If you have a chicken and it lays an egg there is no cruelty. Yes the whole industry is cruel. But the eating of eggs isn't. If you expand the definition to include the mass production market of anything then you will encounter extermination of animals
But that is a stretch for eating eggs. The same argument could be said about eating grains. Grains are processed in facilities where aggressive pest control methods are used and insects/redents are purged from the facility.Eating anything mass produced will contribute to the culling of unwanted animals one way or another.
