It could be a team like Shakhtar Donetsk of Ukraine
There as a production here in Brazil called “Lili, a Ex”, it was a big production for TV and was all shot with BM Pocket Camera
They also used it in Expendables 3 and the BM Pocket in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Again, not the main cameras but well, it's something.
People are using Sony A7r / A7s or the Panasonic GH4 as well but those are newer, my BMC is from early 2014 and it's still kicking butts.
BM is awesome for smaller productions, people use it a lot for fashion films, music videos and ads. It has a great quality/price ratio
You actually do. They used BMC in Mad Max as secondary cameras. Google BlackMagic Max Max and you'll find some pics (:
Yeah, I use a Black Magic Cinema Camera and it's a great equipment. Filming in a nice codec is essential for the post production process.

not trying to be snob but the color&tone matching are far from seamlessly. way to much contrast and saturation on most of them.

Not really incredible difficult on Photoshop. It's kinda easy actually.

Industrial design is to be produced by the industry and not FOR the industry. It can be FOR but it's not obviously the case here.
Industrial design is a HUGE field. Aesthetics AND production method are parts of it.
If he studied the ergonomics, industrial process, material resistance and etc, it IS industrial design. That's my POV as a designer myself.
Actually you CAN'T tell if this is just craft or ID by a picture of a model. What differs ID and arts/crafts is the existence of a project.
Now listen to Gorillaz's "Some kind of Nature" and feel really bad that he is gone. Metallica sucks anyway.
