When I first saw this movie in high school I thought, man those uniforms really resemble WW2 nazi uniforms. I later learned it was not a fluke and was in fact the authors goal. Without knowing, I knew. As a high achool kid. And yet people today, well, here we are.

Also funnily enough, Lee himself said after the war there should be no monuments or things of that nature to the confederacy. They lost, he knew and said in order for the country to heal it needed to not be glamorized. The "popularity" of it came in the early 1900s when the federal governemnt wanted to build military bases in the south and naming them after those guys was how the sold it to the southern states. Voting day should be a national holiday where everything is closed so people can vote. Not saying it would help in the case of closing polling locations, just something I think it should be.
In reality, probably big but not as big as you'd think. It seems bigger because of who's involved. Basically a whole bunch of rich fucks that control stuff we use/are exposed to everyday so it seems absolutley huge. If you were to compare it strictly based on number of people on the list vs number of people that live in the US itd be rather small. That being said, the fact that no one seems to care about doing anything about it is the real problem.

We need more vocational education in high school. My high school used to have a ton of it, had s little bit while I was there and pretty much has none left now. The space and tools were all there for wood shop, auto shop, welding and even Ag mechanics. Now im pretty sure they just use it for storage.
What causes a lot of this is them lifting the vehicles and not having the headlights readjusted. Its something that should always be done so that the lights will be back to the way the factory set them. It doesnt solve all the issues but it fixes a lot. People are stupid though
