I'm talking industry standard. I worked as a graphic designer for minimum wage, which is way below what entry level should be.
One guy at work does this all the time. We just react like a toddler made the same joke for the 3rd time: fake laugh and walk away.

Best paying job I've ever had was unskilled labor (vs jobs that required xp). We don't need better minimum wage, just fair compensation.
Grandma came in the late 40's with her family looking for jobs and a better life. Earned their keep, and passed those values down.
