I stand with Macklemore. I have been to Gaza. It was quite some time ago and it was bad then and way worse now. Most likely, the people I met then are dead now.

I love the fact he asked if it was an emergency. Really good though.

In her defense, I would have tried the same thing.

Jellyfish causing power plants to shut down is not exactly new. I worked as a field operator and part of my job was to operate the fire hydrant in order to cut pieces of the massive amounts of jellyfish to keep the power plant running.

I get paid equivalent of 100 dollar an hour. If I don't clean up after myself I have to work overtime with no pay to do it. Keep your workplace tidy. It's not that hard.

As a Swede, Norway is painfully beautiful. But after working there for the past year I know the weather is not on your side.

I'm a guy and whenever I drop something I still say "I'll just put it there". I love these small little quirks. It makes us human.

I proposed with a small kite for 5 yuan at Tiananmen Square. Still together after 26 years.

I had just come home from US and was still jetlagged. I went back a couple of weeks later and it was a completely different country.

That explains why I barely remember my job when I get back to work as I work two weeks and off for three weeks...

This is called a missed approach and is more common than you might think. As a frequent traveller I have been through a few. It's scary but normal. The power felt when the pilot goes full throttle is way more powerful than a normal takeoff.
