My washing machine is in kitchen... I'm American.
This is just a straight stitch, there are others, zigzag, curved, but this is the basic principle.
My cat is 4 and i just started the leash, and he's fine with it. doesn't go when pulled, but doesnt panic.
I usually use large zip ties for them.
Plastic boning is easier to work with, its a good starting point for corsets.
